April spawned a whole posse of prolific and talented writers. Amongst my favorites is Barbara Kingsolver. Her prose is always engaging; I like THE BEAN TREES the best out of her work. The story of a kooky drifter and a baby girl named Turtle will make you laugh until you cry and vice versa.
