Author Birthdays
May has more author birthdays than seems logical. Usually when I go to collect the names and dates from our files there are one or maybe two authors every week that I think the Teenreads elite should know about. But May has two or three cool authors everyday. It's nuts, I tell you. I condensed the list down to my most favorites. I suggest you start at the top of the list and work your way down. If there is any author you haven't read yet, pick up one of their books and get started. My Personal Favorite out of all the darling buds of May: THE BLOODY CHAMBER by Angela Carter, a collection of very modern retellings of classical fairy tales.
