I would give my sister, who likes to travel, the book 1,000 PLACES TO SEE BEFORE YOU DIE, because it is a great to-do list. I would give my friend who likes philosophy the book THE PIG THAT WANTS TO BE EATEN: 100 Experiments for the Armchair Philosopher, because it can keep your mind working hard.

I also loved the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer and the Georgia Nicholson series by Louise Rennison. These books were filled with romance, mystery, and some great LOL moments. A must for any teenage girl.
