ESPERANZA RISING, because she is my role model of what I'd like to be able to go through, yet keep my spirit.
DOES MY HEAD LOOK BIG IN THIS --- Another story of a brave girl, yet she is brave in a different way than Esperanza. All the Harry Potter books: I'd LOVE for that to happen to me. LEGALLY BLONDE --- I think I'm a lot like Elle in the way that I'd do anything for someone I love and that I find things enjoyable after a while, even if I don't always like it at the beginning. THIS IS ALL: this is a terrific book that I (sadly) don't own, it's a library book. I can really relate to a lot of things Cordelia had to go through.

If I had to pick 5 books from my bookshelf that described me, I would most likely pick none of them because I love all my books and I have a zillion that could define me I just don't know which ones I would choose because all my books have something special in them that describes me and it makes it too hard to choose just 5 !!!
*****
Oh good heavens, where to start? First, I would pick up MAXIMUM RIDE by James Patterson, the first one in the series, since I feel a lot like Max in that I often feel like a mutant. Then I would pick GODEL, ESCHER, BACH, a collection of German philosophical musings, the author of which I've forgotten. And then I would choose a book that I myself wrote, which doesn't have a title, that is basically a diary written in book format that documents my life for the past three years. I had a major turning point last summer, so I decided to finish the first book, and start a new one, which would be my fourth pick, and then my last one would be an autobiography I had to write for myself my sophomore year of high school. It's a beautiful collection of pieces I had to write about myself, and it really describes who I am. So only two of the five were written by real published authors, but those five would be my choices.

HARLEY, LIKE A PERSON, I WAS A NON-BLONDE CHEERLEADER, some stories found in CHICKEN SOUP FOR THE TEENAGE SOUL, the dictionary [full of definitions, I'm sure some of it defines me], and THE WONDERFUL WIZARD OF OZ [she lives in a dull black and white world].

*****
I've tried for almost an hour thinking about it and I finally come up with something. None --- and I read enough that I think I should know, but I don't. I can't define myself in 5 books, even though some I think are more like me and my life than others. I cant because i don't think my "plot" has gotten to the best part yet. I'm still searching for my story. But when the story starts to unfold, I can't wait to see what happens.
*****
My five books on my shelf would be OLIVE'S OCEAN, A CHILD CALLED "IT", JUST LISTEN, HARRY POTTER AND THE PRISONER OF AZKABAN, and THE OUTSIDERS.
*****
The three books in the Twilight series (TWILIGHT, NEW MOON, and ECLIPSE) and the two Bloody Jack adventures that I own.
*****
Gone With the Wind How I Live Now A Great and Terrible Beauty Harry Potter (any of them!) Twilight
*****
First off, I would choose STARGIRL by Jerry Spinelli before I could even blink. Everyone can relate to both Stargirl herself, as well as to Leo. Then, I'd choose THAT SUMMER by Sarah Dessen. I can relate to the way Macy feels --- confused, frustrated, and plain as vanilla ice cream. Next, I'd choose DAIRY QUEEN by Catherine Gilbert Murdock. I'm similar to DJ in about a million different ways, and if you changed her name to Hailey, it'd make just as much sense. After that, I'd choose THE VIEW FROM SATURDAY by E. L. Konigsburg. I've had very similar experiences as all four characters, and have participated in a similar team to "The Souls". Lastly, I would choose HARRY POTTER AND THE SORCERER'S STONE, because in each and every one of us, there lies a wizard.

I desire to go on a long journey perhaps not as long as Rose's in EAST. I am determined to go to college as is the main character in CATALYST.
