I would recommend SPEAK by Laurie Halse Anderson because it's intense and it's all about how this one girl survived her freshman year after a tragedy. Second would be WHEN IT HAPPENS Susan Colasanti because its a funny love story in which two people must overcome obstacles in life. Third would be The Luxe series because it's like Gossip Girl, but more appropriate, and it is all really good. Last but not least is the Twilight series because I absolutely love it. I've read it four times and I love the characters and all of the romance in the story.
