The book I love telling people about is called BREATHE MY NAME by R. A. Nelson. That is an amazing book! I love it, it's so different from anything else I've ever read. I'm glad it's not about vampires too, as much as I love TWILIGHT, because it's hard to find books that aren't trying to copy the Twilight Saga.

*****

The last book I read that I couldn't stop talking about was titled BLIND FAITH by Ellen Wittlinger.

*****

it has to be the LONDONSTANI by Gautam Malkani. This book was assigned in my English class to another group, but I was interested so I read this book. At first, I was skeptical about it because of the gang style language. But, it's actually great. This book has real issues hidden behind swear words and gangster lifestyle of the characters. Also, it's very funny at the same time. Some people can be offended by the book if they are not used to reading or hearing bad language. At first I was, but once you get though first chapter, you get used to it and learn to enjoy the book for what it really is, through all those swear words. This book is great for people who don't like to read. Almost everyone I know who's heard about the book liked it and actually showed interest to go and read it!

*****

The Goose Girl

*****

TWILIGHT by Stephenie Meyer

*****

the book TWILIGHT is one of the greatest books I have ever picked up in my life, and I've picked up a lot.

*****

The last book I read was THE KITE RUNNER, and it was very fascinating! I never payed attention to Afghanistani life before, but after reading this, I feel very sorry for what happened. This book has everything, the relations between two friends, the relations between a father and son, a betrayal on behalf of both. This, by far, was the greatest book I have ever read. One phrase that stuck in my head was "For you a thousand times over".

*****

The Bloody Jack series by L. A. Meyer.

*****

The first I'd have to say was THE HOST by Stephenie Meyer. It was such an unusual and captivating story about tolerance and love.

Next would be NICK & NORAH'S INFINITE PLAYLIST. It caught me up and didn't want to let me go...I was like a junkie when I read that book; I couldn't put it down!

Last, but certainly not least, was ELSEWHERE. Another strange, amazing book. It actually made me open my eyes to the fact that I'm here, I might as well make the best of it.

*****

Since I read John Green's PAPER TOWNS in November, I absolutely haven't been able to stop thinking about it. I recommend it to everyone: friends, teachers, random people on the Internet. John Green's latest book absolutely proved to me that he is a brilliant author. Another book I haven't been able to shut up about is Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons' graphic novel, WATCHMEN. I read it before the movie's release and thought it was very thought-provoking, gritty and powerful. Definitely for more mature readers, but it definitely has an impact.

*****

THE HUNGER GAMES
CROSS MY HEART AND HOPE TO SPY
The Clique series

*****

The last three books I read that I could not stop talking about were:
TRAINSPOTTING by Irvine Welsh - My most recent read of it was yet another reread! It's my favourite novel!

GODS BEHAVING BADLY by Marie Philips - Such a hilarious take in the Olympians and the story of Orpheus.

MR. SAMMLER'S PLANET --- Ugh. I really cannot stand this novel; that's the only reason why I continue to talk about it. It's so horrible!

*****

I read EVERMORE, EVERNIGHT, and SEANCE. All three were absolutely fantastic.

*****

I could not put down books 1-4 of the Pretty Little Liars series, and I can't wait to start the 5th. Also, the Secrets of My Hollywood Life series is also too, just like the Poseur series. And don't get me started on the Septimus Heap series, it's my absolute favorite.

Sunrise Over Fallujah
You Know Where to Find Me

*****

1.) The entire Twilight Saga!
I read TWILIGHT, NEW MOON, and ECLIPSE back in July 2008, and I bought BREAKING DAWN the day it came out! I'm an avid fan, and I still can't stop talking about them.
2.) GONE WITH THE WIND
We watched the movie in my reading class, and I immediately was hooked on the passion, love, tragedy, and heartbreak. The book was simply amazing. Scarlett and Rhett forever (:
3.) SURRENDER BAY --- My best friend told me that this book was amazing, and after reading it, I found that she was right. It's a classic love/heartbreak story with a wonderful implied Christian message that you really have to decode. I was hooked from the first page.

*****

13 REASONS WHY and THE WAY HE LIVED, without a doubt. They were both compelling and real, but they left me wondering and thinking about myself, rather than hoping for a romance by two fictional characters. These books make you think: could things be different if I changed?

I loved them, and I recommended them to all of my friends.

SCRABLEMONICS - I was looking for a mental pastime since my body is now protesting the physical ones. Scrabble came up as an obvious choice, but I've never had any luck remembering what was good and what wasn't. I tried various word lists --- boring. Then I came across something called SCRABLMONICS (www.scrablmonics.com). It's very different --- an interesting read; you don't get everything right away, but it's still memorable. I didn't realize how much it was working until I got a strange rack in a game; EIOHNNT. So I start moving the letters around and got THIO (Ohio was part of a clue in the book SCRABLMONICS). That left me with NNE, which was almost a word, so I moved the I over and got NINE. Out of nowhere I remembered another clue from the book; when is THIONINE possessive, when it's THIOMINE, and just like that I had an 8 letter bingo. Turned out to be a 78-point play! And to top it off, my opponent challenged me --- and lost, LOL. The SCRABLMONICS book has been the best teaching tool purchase for me, I'm loving it!

*****

The last three books I read and couldn't stop talking about would have to be:

1.) CRANK
2.) GLASS
3.) A CHILD CALLED "I"

This is three, although I could have probably put approximately 15.

*****

City of Glass
Stargazer
Evermore

*****

I aways loved the movie The Notebook and I just read the book, which is really good. A WALK TO REMEMBER is also good. Lurlene McDaniel's books are really amazing. Most of them are about cancer and it is really helpful to me because my grandma passed away from cancer, so they help me understand that if it happens, it happens. She also taught me that once something bad happens, something good happens.

*****

Inkspell

The Fountainhead

*****

I read Vampire Knight (manga) --- The tragic book is about a girl who thinks she's human and falls in love with her brothers.

Another would probably be Hana Kimi (manga) because she says stuff like "Shut up you noodle-legged weasel." Hana Kimi is about a girl who goes to Japan and sneaks into a boys school to get close to her favorite athlete.

Trinity Blood (manga) --- This book is crazy. It takes place in the future, when vampires and humans are trying to live peacefully. A priest from the Vatican, Abel Nightroad, is sent on missions but never completes as expected. His good heart prevents murder.

*****
