One book that I would want to give people this holiday is Flyy girl by Omar Tyree or The Coldest Winter Ever by Sistah Souljah because those two books are very goo and tell you more about the struggles and the hardship in the projects and also being African American in the projects.

if i could give out any book for Christmas....id give out "The Outsiders" by SE Hinton. id give this book out because this is the book that got me reading. i read way back in the day. when i was in grammar school. i loved it and began to look for other books like it and read the rest of the books she read. then as i got older i began to explore the other books that are out there. i looked for ones about anything and just started to read. i wasnt a kid people thought would be a big reader either but were they wrong. we read this for one of our 8th grade books and my whole class enjoyed reading this. so this is what id give out to catch people who dont read a lot maybe to look into it and begin or people who read tons and just want more to read.
