I read a book that my friend Samantha told me about. The book was called Guitar Girl by Sarra Manning. I'm in the middle of reading it now, but I'm really glad she told me about it. The types of books that she reads and the types that I read are very similar, so now I know that when she tells me about a book to read it. She also told me about the book Define "Normal" by Julie Anne Peters. I haven't read it yet but I intend to. Guitar Girl is an awesome book, and if you love music you should definitely read it.

I was browsing my school library for my book project books, but I couldn't find much. I asked our librarian if she knew any new books that had just come in featuring realistic girls. She recommended the Clique series, so I checked them out (The Clique and Best Friends for Never). They were awesome! The third book, The Revenge of the Wannabes, has just come out, and I found it while browsing at the bookstore. Now I'm hooked and anxiously awaiting the fourth book, and I own the current three. I'm really glad Mrs. Hendricks (my librarian) recommended these books! They're the best!
