Amelia Atwater-Rhodes' Summer Reading List

Amelia Atwater-Rhodes was born in Maryland on April 16, 1984. It was on her 14th birthday that her first book, IN THE FORESTS OF THE NIGHT, was accepted for publication. At age 16, her second novel, DEMON IN MY VIEW, was published. But the teenage author still has over 40 manuscripts sitting on her shelves. Amelia Atwater-Rhodes was named one of Teen People's "20 Teens Who Will Change the World" and has appeared on The Rosie O'Donnell Show, CBS Saturday Morning, and CNN NewsStand.

A BRANCH OF THORNS
by Kyle Bladow
iUniverse
ISBN: 0595226132
216 pages

A BRANCH OF THORNS, I actually read in an earlier version; Kyle decided to go with iUniverse a while back, just to get a few copies out mainly to people he knows, but it has been getting good reviews from many of my fans (Should I be sponsoring competition?).

SAVING HELL
by Christina Yoo
Not Yet Published

Christina Yoo is a new author for me, though her ideas are very fresh --- different from what I usually read.

VAMPIRE LORD
by Sean Robinson
Not Yet Published

CHILDREN OF DAWN, ELDERS OF TWILIGHT
by Jacob Garbe
Not Yet Published

I do not know much about VAMPIRE LORD or CHILDREN OF DAWN, ELDERS OF TWILIGHT, though I have read the first couple pages of the latter (bad Amy! Should be editing!)and the writing was striking; I am looking forward to it.

FLEE
by R. C. Carpenter
Not Yet Published

I have read R.C. Carpenter's previous books, a set of three, and half of FLEE; I have no doubt that one will be amazing.
