Official Rules for Teenreads.com’s Grab Bag of Books Contest

ELIGIBILITY: The contest is open to all legal residents of the United States (excluding Puerto Rico) and Canada (excluding Quebec) who are 13 years of age or older. The following persons and their dependents are not eligible to enter or win: employees of Teenreads.com or The Book Report, Inc. and their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate families (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) of each of the above.

HOW TO ENTER: The contest is open from 9AM on Thursday, March 18, 2010 thru noon ET on Thursday, April 15, 2010. While the contest is posted on Teenreads.com, you can enter by filling out this form.

All entries must be received by Thursday, April 15, 2010 at noon ET. One entry per person. All duplicate entries will be eliminated.

HOW TO WIN: The total number of eligible entries received determines odds of winning. From all eligible entries received, Teenreads.com will randomly select five (5) winners on or about Thursday, April 15, 2010. The winners will receive one (1) copy of each of the following books: KATY’S NEW WORLD: Katy Lambright Series, Book 1 by Kim Vogel Sawyer; THE LONELY HEARTS CLUB by Elizabeth Eulberg; MY SOUL TO SAVE: Soul Screamers, Book 2 by Rachel Vincent; and SMILE by Raina Telgemeier (Retail Value: $48.96). In the event the Potential Winner is a Canadian resident, he/she (or, if the winner is a minor, his/her parent or legal guardian) will be required to correctly answer a time-limited skill testing mathematical question to be administered by mail to receive the prize.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY/RESERVED RIGHTS: Neither the Sponsor, nor the parent, subsidiary or affiliate companies, nor the promotional agencies shall have any obligation or responsibility with regard to (i) entries that contain inaccurate information or do not comply with these rules, (ii) entries, prize claims or notifications that are lost, late, incomplete, illegible, unintelligible, damaged or otherwise not received by the intended recipient, in whole or in part, due to computer or technical error of any kind, (iii) telephone, electronic, hardware, software, network, Internet or computer malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or (iv) any damages or losses of any kind caused by any prize or resulting from acceptance, possession or use of any prize. The Sponsor, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Web Site or otherwise violating these rules. The Sponsor further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the Sweepstakes if the Sweepstakes cannot be completed as planned because of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort.
