I've just read Out of The Ashes by Valerie Sherrard. It was one of the best books I've ever read. On a scale of 1-10 I would give it a 10. Reading the back of the book may out you off, but I reccommend reading it anyway, because although you don't think you'd enjoy reading a book about someone who'd been sexually abused it may turn around and surprise you. THe back put me off, but I gave it a try and found it to be the best written book I've ever read. I found it quite interesting and it even gave me a sense of what I want to do for a career. Definitely a "must read."

hrdcoresk8in92@aol.com
I think that anyone who is a fan of fantasy fiction should definitely read Eragon,by Christopher Paolini. On a scale of 1-10 it has to be off the charts. This book blows the The Lord of The Rings and the Harry Potter books out of the water for sure.

At the moment, of the many books I am in the process of reading, I particularily like The Second Bartimaeus Trilogy book, The Golem's Eye by Johnathon Stroud. His books are highly realistic fantasy which easily grab readers' attentions. Anyway, I would recommend this book to anyone and would definetly recommend purchasing the first two books of the trilogy, which are the only published of the trilogy.

I am a big reader and I love to read. There is a book in particular that I have just finished reading. The book is called ' Flyy Girl'. It is about an African-American young girl named Tracy Ellis living in North Philly. She is what guys would call a'fly girl'. Every guy wants to date her however only a few guys had been so lucky. Watch Tracy as she grows from a young girl into a woman. She deals with sex, drugs, endless boys and friendships.

lulu__wang@yahoo.com
I'm reading "The Crucible" by Arthur Miller. Although it's written as a play and not what most people would read for pleasure, it's interesting in plot and when you can relate it to current society. I'd give it 3/5 stars.

crazychill123@yahoo.com
A book that I just finished reading is 'Flyy Girl'by Omar Tyree. It is about a young girl named Tracy Ellis. She is a popular and desirable young girl. Watch tracy as she deals with boys, sex, drugs, parental seperation and friendships. I loved this book and I hope you all will like it too.

xoSexCShawty1xo@netscape.com
I've read the two books My Bloody Life and Once A King Always A King by Reymundo Sanchez. These are two books written about the life of a latin king. If you dont noe wat a latin king is it is a gang. It's very graphic, but it's a really good story showing his ups and downs of his life while he's in a gang. My Bloody Life is the first book which tells about the gang life and how it is while hes in it. Once A King Always A King is Rey trying to get out of the latin kings and his struggles i rate bouth of these book 10/10 stars

I love the young wizards books. I forget who the author was, but it it a seies about a girl and a boy that find a book that teaches them wizardry. It turns out that magic is a big responsability instead of a joke. these books rock! the first book's title is SO YOU WANT TO BE A WIZARD

rzaneski@nypl.org
I am reading Sweetblood by Pete Hautman. I saw this book in hardcover awhile ago and I didn't interest me, but the other day I was in the library and I saw the cover of the paperback version from acros the room and I was like, ooh, what is that, and I started reading it. And it's really good! So I guess it's true that you shouldn't judge a book by it's cover.
Lucy Sweetblood Szabo is an awesome character - very witty, lots of biting sarcasm. Highly recommended!!

gkamae@atlas.valenciacc.edu
I've just finished reading the Charlie Bone series and out of five stars I give it a 4.5. Also, I just barely finished Blue is for Nightmares and it was definitely a 5 out of 5. I can't wait to get started on the next one White is for Magic.

Hey teen reads,
Ive just finished a really entertaining book called The Haunting Of Alaizabel Cray by Chris Wooding. It's a book that's sure to make the hairs on your neck stand up and bring out the goosebumps. Just the first few pages had me wondering what might happen next and kept me wondering. This is a book that is hard to put down. I just got done reading DOWNERS GROVE. Basically this book just follows the life of a young women in a small town whos struggling to graduate and to win the heart of the local mechanic. This book is really really good, the storys pretty simple but you can get really caught up in it really easily.
I would caution the younger audience, there are some drug refrences and swear words so beware.
I give this book ****1/2* out of 5*.
Check it out!

I'm currently reading Midnight Mass by F. Paul Wilson

Rating thus far: ***** (5 stars)

This book is great so far. It is today's world, but being taken over by vampires. These are the old heartless, soul-less fiends that they used to be, and not sugared up at all.

I would say that this is more of an adult book, because it contains bad language, but other than that, it's very good so far.
