The Sisterhood Of the Traveling Pants series are great!!!

Oo_Queeniebaby_oO@msn.com
I recommend the book "This Lullaby" by Sarah Dessen. I lost myself in that book (well thats not really hard to do...but thats besides the point) it really put an emphasis on how not loving really means that your weak and not strong, and that it takes a leap of faith to not decide or debated whether or not to love but to just love. I know it may not sound right or to you may just sound like, for a lack of a better word, crap but believe me after you read this book you will understand what I'm talking about. Oh and as you probably know I give this book 5 stars. :P

vintagetyger@yahoo.com
I am reading Wicked-The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the East.....and I absoltutley love it. It's by Gregory Maguire and it talks about Elpahaba(the witch) and from the time she was born til the time she died which includes attending Shiz, a magic school, where she become best friends with Galinda (yes Galinda! the later good witch!) and she falls in love and has a child. laureilly1990@hotmail.com
I just finished reading 'White Oleander' and was shocked to find myself wanting more. I am not very easily satisfied and this was on of the few books I have read that I didnt want to end. Astrid, a young girl who's mother has been arrested for homocide, has to discover herself in the people she meets throught her teen years while her mother is in prison. She is confused and finds herself doing things she wouldn't usually want to be doing. I give this book 5 stars and two thumbs up!

ellebear17@hotmail.com
The best book that I have read lately is definitely Darkness at Noon by Arthur Koestler. It is shocking, satirical, and reveals some aspects of politics that still apply in Russia (the novel's setting) as well as in today's world. A+

My favorite books (category: romance/comedy) from a 15 year old booklover. Definitely check them out:

A-List Novel (The first in the series)by: Zoey Dean
*Similar to the show "The OC" except with a new girl who moves in with her movie-star father who lives in LA. She enters rich community and shakes up the love scene.
When I was Older by: Freymann-Weyr
*Sad story about coping with a younger brother who died. Also, very sweet romance happens when the main character hooks up with her mother's new boyfriend's son.

My Heatbeat by: Freymann-Weyr
*about a girl who crushes on her older brother's best friend. However, there are questions about her brother's relationsionship with his best friend. Could they be a couple?

Georgia Nicholson Series by Louise Renisson
*If you haven't already read these books, you're definitely missing out. You'll love the british words and georgia crazy made-up saying(i.e. "knickers"=underwear, "nippy noodles"= cold, "geoggers="geography class). Charming, hilarious georia nicholson will give you non-stop laughs. This is the type of book that won't let you get up. You'll breeze through this series and be left awaiting the next book like me in no time.

Gingerbread by Rachel Cohn
* also, an awesome book. i read this book a while back, and can't remember much. I can only remember really liking it. so, you'll have to take my word for it.

The pride and the prejudice by jane austen

* A classic novel. Very sophisticated language, old english-type, british novel. loved it. reminds me of the movie "Bridget Jones" which i also loved and am going to see the new sequel.

other great books:

Fingerprints series by melinda metz (sp?)
Fearless series by Francine pascal

That's all i can think of for now. Happy reading!

cindy_y_deng@yahoo.com
I would recommend the series Clearwater Crossing(Get a Life, Reality Check, Heart and Soul). This was an awesome series. It combined true friendship, love, and help for the needy. I would rate this 9.5 out of 10.

crazychill123@yahoo.com
I would definitly recommend a book called: "Imani All mine" by Connie Porter. It was the most riveted book about teen pregnancy. a girl named tasha has a baby named imani. Everyone thinks she is a 'nasty' girl because she has a child. But no one knows her secret. It is a secret that she keeps hidden deep down inside and refuses to get it out. Only her best friend Eboni knows. If you read this book it will take you through the path of teen pregnancy in which will help you see it through a teen mother's point of view. This story is emotional and heart-wrenching novel. I loved it from the beginning until the end. This is the book i would recommend.

crazychill123@yahoo.com
I would really love to recommend "Flyy Girl" by Omar tyree. This book is so real that is why i am so passionate about this book. Anyone can relate to it because it deals with every type of situation. There is also a second part to it that I just found out about. It is entitled:"For the love of money". It is where the adolescent tracy grows up and matures into a women. It is not as good as "Flyy Girl", but you'll love it just the same. I truly enjoy reading and i wouldn't reccommend any book that i wasn't completly sure was good. So please take the time to pick up these 2 books. they are wonderful.

Another book that i would really like to recommend is "Dancer" by Lorri Hewwett. I just finished the book like two days ago and it was really good. now normally i do not read "dancing" books but this one was good. It was about a girl named Stephanie. She is a ballet dancer. she goes to a prep school but it is only because of the fact that her father's the janitor. people give her a hard time about it and so she doesn't have alot of friends outside of her dance class. her parents want her to slow down on the ballet to get ready for college. she feels as if her parents do not believe in her dream of becoming a ballerina. She is all alone until she meets Ms. Winnie, a former dancer, and her nephew Vance. Watch as this story takes you through real problems.

KitKat882007@yahoo.com
I'm currently reading the Princess Diary series which are really good so far. But my favorite authors are Chris Crutcher, and Sarah Dessen
