WORD OF MOUTH

April 2005

Tell Us What You Are Reading...Find Out What Other Teens Are Reading.

This contest period's winner was x0jessegirl0x@aol.com, who received a copy of PROM by Laurie Halse Anderson.

monica_18_ll@hotmail.com
I am a 17-year-old female and I have read the first and second A-List novels by Zoey Dean and currently starting on the third. These are GREAT books that are so fun and exciting, malicious, and scandalous. The characters are indeed ambitious, backstabbing, and will trigger your emotions! It'll make you happy and then it'll make you sad and even make you SO angry. Absolutely a page-turner. The reason I love the series is because I love reading gossip about celebrities, reading into celebrities' lives and keeping up with the media and the rich and famous. Well, if you're like me these books will satisfy your hunger for more behind the scenes, the real-life scoop on the rich and famous with the characters that Zoey Dean creates. You get to know what is going on inside their heads, their dilemmas and thoughts! It's so FUN to read! I highly recommend it!

aikensangel@bellsouth.net
I am currently reading The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Mark Haddon. It is so awesome! However, I give it only 4 out of 5 stars.

chooky_093@hotmail.com
A Twist in Time by Jean Ure and Finding Cassie Crazy (also named The Year of Secret Assignments) by Jaclyn Moriarty are the best books EVER!!!! I read them both in a day and could not put them down!

chooky_093@hotmail.com
I read I Am the Messenger by Markus Zusak in a day and it was really good! I loved the way everything was described and the characters' personalities!

Xxcutie4evaxX@msn.com
The New Rules of High School by Blake Nelson and The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants by Ann Brashares

emma11_91@hotmail.com
Naughts & Crosses by Malorie Blackman. I thought this was a great book and very thought-provoking. It's interesting how, unlike our society was, black people were dominant and whites were looked down upon. I highly recommend this book and Knife Edge, the second book of the trilogy.

Ncangel2005@aol.com
I just finished reading The Nine Lives of Chloe King by Celia Thomson. It is one of my new favorite books. It was so good. It just always left you with suspense at the end of each chapter.

mysterious_midnight@hotmail.com
I am reading White Midnight by Dia Calhoun. I also love books. My school's library has over 26,000 and I am close to breaking the school record. I have read over 80 books since I came to the high school for my freshman year. I am a freshman. I started in September. I love books, but my parents don't like buying them. I would love to own a book!

purplestar414@hotmail.com
I just finished reading The Twentieth Wife by Indu Sundaresan. If you are an Indian girl you will DEFINITELY enjoy this book, but others will like it as well!

kat@jeffbristol.com
The other day I read the most recent Sisterhood book, Girls in Pants by Ann Brashares. It was an AWESOME book! I really, really enjoyed it like the last two. I give it 4 stars.

I also read a book called Perfect by Natasha Friend. That, too, was a really good book, dealing with common young adult issues like bulimia and peer pressure. I give it 3 stars (out of 4).

SweetA310@yahoo.com
Cold Mountain by Charles Frazier. 5 stars.
The books is nothing like the movie, which I heard totally sucked. Cold Mountain is about a soldier, Inman, who takes a long journey back to Cold Mountain to see his love, Ada. Each chapter alternates between the two narrators. It evokes practically every emotion. The writing itself is beautiful (seriously). I definitely recommend this book to everyone.

lilmissangel11@comcast.net
Fever 1793 by Laurie Halse Anderson. It was a terrific read, yet sad --- it felt like you were there, I could see the tears rolling down the families' cheeks and the thoughts of dying and the furiousness of the burglars.

Sophilee89@hotmail.com
I really like Sarra Manning's books, the latest one Pretty Things is written from the perspectives of four very different teenagers at a summer drama school; it's very funny and heartwarming.

I've also just read Revenge of the Wannabes by Lisi Harrison. It's part of a series called The Clique; it's very much like Mean Girls.

Also Citizen Girl by Emma McLaughlin and Nicola Kraus is interesting, to say the least!

Read them all!

butterfly173173173@hotmail.com
Shadowmancer by G. P. Taylor
This book is about a vicar over in England named Obadiah Demurral. The setting is in the early 1800s or late 1700s. Demurral wants to have the power of God so he steals this figurine called a keruvim. It looks like a golden angel with beautiful folded wings down its back. But Dermurral must get the other one to have the power. Demurral's servant Beadle is afraid of him, but has nowhere else to go. Thomas is the main character. Demurral burned down his mother's house because she couldn't pay the rent. Now she's in the hospital. Thomas's dad died out at sea. Thomas has a friend named Kate. One day Thomas is rescued by an African boy named Raphah. Raphah tells Thomas about Demurral's plans and then Raphah, Kate, and Thomas set out to stop him. Thomas is 13 and Kate is 13. Raphah it says looks between twelve and twenty. It's a great book with weird monsters such as boggles and Hobs. A must-read for anybody.

pjanki142003@yahoo.com
I recommend that everyone read The Confessions of Georgia Nicolson by Louise Rennison. It is the funniest book I have ever read. And it is also good explaining the wacky English vocabulary. It is definitely a 10 on a scale of 1-10.

vlgeiger@verizon.net
Pendragon Series by D. J. Machale
Book One: The Merchant of Death
Book Two: The Lost City of Faar
Book Three: The Never War
Book Four: The Reality Bug

These books are exciting. 5 stars.

irvingirl@homexpressway.net
I would recommend About Face by June Rae Wood. It's about this girl who has a birthmark on her face and has low self esteem because she thinks she is ugly. It's a really inspiring book. I give it 5 stars.

soda_bear973@hotmail.com
I recommend The Mediator series by Meg Cabot! They are so great and not too scary, though they have that eerie vibe and a dazzle of romance. Love 'em.

faby_12_2003@hotmail.com
I recommend all you girls to read The A-List by Zoey Dean. It's about a girl who moves to live with her father. Just one night she finds someone who just might be the love of her life and attends the wedding of a famous actress. Everything seems to be going great until she meets the girls who are going to make her life a living hell.

carlaivonne@gmail.com
One of my very favourite books is She's Come Undone by Wally Lamb. It's about a girl's life from 4 to 40 years old. It's a very sweet but also very, very sad story. It's truly a 5 out of 5 book.

TeranLee16@aol.com
One of the best authors I have come across is Lurlene McDaniel. She writes such great stories that you can read an entire book in one day. The way she uses real life experiences makes you feel like you are in the story. Some of her great stories are A Rose for Melinda and Six Months to Live.

TeranLee16@aol.com
Gossip Girls series. 5 stars.
Mates, Dates series. 5 stars.
Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe. 3 1/2 stars.
A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith. 10 stars.

spykidsara@aol.com
Snakecharm by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes.
Great book, one of my all-time favorites, but don't forget to read the first one, Hawksong! It's exciting, freaky, teaches real lessons, and keeps you reading till the dead of night!

kimah_groovy_chick@hotmail.com
I recommend that everyone read The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens by Sean Covey. If you have parents, boyfriend/girlfriend, or teens problems you should turn to this book. The writer is very open-minded, understanding and rational. It not only gives you advice but also allows you to think very deeply about things. I would give it 5 stars!

emeraldrain317@hotmail.com
I just finished reading Nicola and the Viscount by Meg Cabot. The first few chapters were a bit slow but it's well worth it in the end! This book isn't Meg's best, but definitely worth reading. I give it 7 out of 10 stars. I loved it. Well done Meg!

kate.fisher@rogers.com
I am reading Girls in Pants, the third book in the series The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. This book is awesome! It is funny, sad and an overall great book. I am almost done and all my friends read it to. You have to read the first one and then the second one and then you can read this one. It may sound hard to read all of them, but once you start you can't stop. I would rate this 5 stars.

awesome_lil_blondey_chick88@hotmail.com
I recommend Briar Rose by Jane Yolen. This is a very good book that entwines the Holocaust and Sleeping Beauty. 5 stars.

mikeakd@hotmail.com
I just finished reading The Heartbreaker by Carly Phillips and it SUCKED. Wow, it was just awful. Every cliché in the book, literally, topped off with a summary of everything that had just happened in every chapter. For instance, it would say something like "she wanted to go after him, but she could not forget how when they first met he said this, then she did this, and although he did this, she couldn't explain why she did that and then they met over coffee and decided that this this and this would happen." DO NOT read this book. In fact, go and destroy any copy you can find so no one else has to waste special moments of their life reading it.

xluvmonax@yahoo.com
I'm reading Revenge of the Wannabes: A Clique Novel by Lisi Harrison. This is by far a better and more interesting read than the others in the series, with the characters taking another step higher. This is what I call a novel becoming more interesting and exciting to read.

cherrycokes17@aol.com
I just finished reading the Clique series. They are fabulous books and I couldn't put them down! The girls in these books have lifestyles that are completely different from my own and I think that is why I enjoy them.

savoreverymomnt@hotmail.com
The Dollhouse Murders by Betty Ren Wright.
I just finished reading this book. I enjoyed the mystery, but the ending was not how I thought it would be. It sort of spoiled the book. It dragged a bit too. I wouldn't really recommend this book.

poolangel1@yahoo.com
I love Both Sides of Time and the three other books in the series: Out of Time, Prisoner of Time, and For All Time by Caroline B. Cooney. The series is about a romantic love story, where a fifteen-year-old girl goes back in time and finds love. I definitely loved this book the first time I read it. I stayed up till midnight finishing it, not noticing what time it was! I would give this book a 100,000,000 out of 10!!!

avalanchefan_001@yahoo.com
I highly recommend Book of Shadows by Cate Tiernan. It's a great series, and I couldn't put them down.

suckelovin15@aol.com
I recommend that you read The Mediator series by Meg Cabot. I couldn't put the books down. Once I started reading I couldn't stop. The books are about a girl, Suze, who can see dead people. She has to help them figure out why they are still on earth. Her mom has remarried and she has to move from New York to California and has to start over new! This series of books are so good and everyone should read them.

AllStarPink8@aol.com
I am currently rereading Second Helpings by Megan McCafferty. I absolutely love the story and the characters because they are so relatable and they tell everything like it is. Jessica Darling is the perfect narrator for a story like this and I think everyone should read Sloppy Firsts and Second Helpings if you like to read something real.

m_luc88@hotmail.com
Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck. I give it a 5 because the themes of the book got me thinking about life, loneliness, and American dreams.

flight_of_a_phoenix@yahoo.com
I just finished reading Pay it Forward by Catherine Ryan Hyde. I've seen the movie, and I must say the book's even better. I'm also making my way through the complete works of Terry Pratchett, which if you know anything about him, you'll know that's a pretty big project. So far, I haven't read a single book by him that I didn't love. If you're thinking of reading books by him, I think the Night Watch books are the best --- the first one's called Guards! Guards!

msbandgeek91@aol.com
I'm reading The Mediator 2: Ninth Key by Meg Cabot. It is such a great book. If it's your first time to read a scary book I should recommend reading something scary first and then try to read this book. I give this book, on a 1 to 5 scale, a 5. I think everyone should try and read this book, it has such a great ending.

vintagerocker09@yahoo.com
I am currently reading The Clique by Lisi Harrison. It is such a good book!! I give it, on a scale of 1 to 5, 5 stars.

chooky_093@hotmail.com

sadeangl@aol.com
I'm reading the book Cut by Patricia McCormick. It's about a 15-year-old girl cutting herself.

aznvietgirl29@yahoo.com
A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith. I think that this book was beautifully written. Though long, I thought it was worth every page. I loved this book and Smith is a great author. I give this book a 10 out of 10. I hope that more people get a chance to read this story...

annoying_mags@hotmail.com
Twilight by Meg Cabot, the sixth and final book in the series. This was an AWESOME BOOK!!!

Girls in Pants
by Ann Brashares, the third book in the Traveling Pants series. I loved this book. It was amazing.

Shrimp
by Rachel Cohn. Sarcastic, funny, great characters. Such a fantastic book! A must-read!

samanthamccall2007@yahoo.com
The best book I have ever read would have to be Go Ask Alice by Anonymous. It tells about the story of a teen drug addict. The whole book is this girl's journal and I think all teens and parents of teens should read it.

matzkes@hotmail.com
I recently read Scorpia by Anthony Horowitz, Catalyst by Laurie Halse Anderson, and Son of the Mob by Gordon Korman. Although they were very different from one another, I liked and would recommend all three.

blacksnake@mchsi.com
The Witch's Boy by Michael Gruber. 5 stars.
I read this as an advance reader to evaluate it. It is wonderful, a real treasure for anyone who likes fantasy.

embry.owen@att.net
I am reading The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd. An incredible book that you cannot miss!

spacecase_angel@hotmail.com
I really enjoyed reading The Ruby in the Smoke by Philip Pullman. It is extremely well-written and is the kind of book you can't put down. It is mystery/suspense with a bit of (non-mushy) romance. I'd give it an 8 out of 10.

hummingbird_07@hotmail.com
The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks. 3 stars.
The Giver by Lois Lowry. 5 stars.
The Travelling Pants trio by Ann Brashares 5/5
Girls In Love and Girls Out Late by Jacqueline Wilson. 5 stars.

Luvbug7@optonline.net
The Gossip Girls, The A-List novels and The Au Pairs were amazingly fabulous and just awesome. It was almost as if you weren't reading because it was just so good. Haha…oh and also The Third Summer of the Sisterhood, Girls in Pants, is good. They talk about love and relationships, and Prada, Gucci, Abercrombie...MY FAV BRANDS! Yeahh so go shopping and buy those books. Oh and buy the Clique series…that's awesome too.

scoot0415@hotmail.com
I recommend reading The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold. It is more of an adult material book and kind of hard to follow, but wonderful. 4 stars.

zeepee1011@netscape.net
I recommend Spin Control and Royally Jacked by Niki Burnham. They are both very good and very funny. When I started reading them, I couldn't put them down. I would give both of those books 5 stars. I would also recommend Can You Keep a Secret? by Sophie Kinsella. I have read all of her books and they are very good. I would give this book 4 stars, but I would give her Shopaholic series 5 stars each. One more book that I would recommend is The Queen of Everything by Deb Caletti. It was a very interesting book to read. I would give it 3 1/2 stars.

AnnaDizz24@hotmail.com
I recommend the book The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold. It gives you a whole new look on life…and after life. It's a great book. 5 stars!

ellenreiss32@hotmail.com
I recommend that you read The Wind Blows Backward by Mary Downing Hahn. It's a great love story but it's mostly for girls.

whoyoucallin_big_nose@hotmail.com
Finding Cassie Crazy by Jaclyn Moriarty (aka The Year of Secret Assignments)
This book is creative and full of life from the first word on the first page. She is an excellent Australian author who is just not as popular as she should be. I recommend Jaclyn Moriarty to ALL my friends! She truly is an intelligent person!

amsmead@hotmail.com

All's Fair in Love, War and High School by Janette Rallison. 5 stars.
A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray. 5 stars.

HypedUpLoser@hotmail.com
I strongly suggest you read Homecoming by Cynthia Voigt because it teaches us not to take so much we have for granted, and not many books can do that. 5 stars.

And also, the book If You Come Softly by Jacqueline Woodson because it teaches us not to take the people who love us for granted because they could be snapped away just like that. 5 stars.

cocomarieaz@yahoo.com
I recommend Crooked by Laura and Tom McNeal. This book may look big (it has about 300 pages), but you'll get hooked instantly (everybody should read it). And then this book Forever by Judy Blume, which is awesome, but it's mostly a girls book. Pick these up ASAP!! They are awesome!

depthsofshallowness@yahoo.com
The Cider House Rules by John Irving. It takes a while to read (it's around 500 pages), but it is worth it. It's about a boy growing up in an orphanage and eventually moving away and working in a cider house. It's a pretty twisted story, but thoroughly enjoyable.

sexy_babe_91269@hotmail.com
I'm reading Knocked Out By My Nunga-Nungas by Louise Rennison!!

Punkonaleash78@aol.com
I am reading The Summerhood of the Traveling Pants book series and I have enjoyed reading them so much. They represent so much of real teenagers' lives and I have a lot in common with some of the characters. Ann Brashares is a wonderful writer and her character Bridget in the books has inspired me a lot, in fact all the characters have. The book teaches you lessons that I won't forget. If I could rate those books, on a scale of 1-10, I would give it a 12! Yea it's that good and I think everyone should read them, more girls than guys though because they are more girl books. These are great books and I hope she makes a fourth one!

Sgooch@canada.com
Right now I'm reading The Nanny Diaries. It is a hilarious story about a nanny who watches the child of the X family. She gets way too involved with the family. I give this book 5 stars. I am also reading The A-List. I would give it 5 stars.

shkruger@hotmail.com
Prom by Laurie Halse Anderson is a great book. I especially like the independence of the characters. The Russian grandmother is terrific.

gymtrblemker4lfe@aol.com
My recommendation is Cobwebs by Karen Young. This book is about a girl named Nancy trying to find out who and what she is. Her family has many talents and they won't tell her what hers is. Through the twists and turns of an adventure of love, life, and almost death, she discovers her true self and who she want to be. I am 13 years of age and I believe young adults need the utmost experience in life to succeed.

Cbizkt@hotmail.com
I thought Dreamland by Sarah Dessen was an amazing book and that every girl going through bf/gf problems should read it AT LEAST twice.

HurricaneGirl453@aol.com
Prom by Laurie Halse Anderson was really good. I always think a novel for young adults about the Prom will be good. I also recommend the Princess Diaries series by Meg Cabot. I rate Prom 4 1/2 stars.

SweetA310@yahoo.com
The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants by Ann Brashares. 5 stars.
I decided to read this book when I saw the preview for the movie version, which looked really good. I absolutely love this book. It's so well written, humorous, touching, etc. The story and the girls are so real and it's so easy to relate. I would totally recommend it.

gigglychick2003@hotmail.com
I would recommend The Earth, My Butt, and Other Big Round Things by Carolyn Mackler to anyone. It's about a girl who is overweight, but through the story learns to love herself. As she does she begins to lose weight, without even realizing she is, in the process.

gwatson1994@charter.net
I am reading The Confessions of Georgia Nicolson and the books are fabulous! 5 stars.

Keeping the Moon by Sarah Dessen. 4 1/2 stars.

Dreamland by Sarah Dessen. 5 stars.
If you're into mystery type novels then find the Trixie Belden series. They are ten times better than Nancy Drew.

Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen was surprisingly funny! 4 1/2 stars.

I personally didn't like the Girls Under Pressure series. 2 stars.

I haven't read Prom yet but it's on my list!

cute_lil_blonde_5@hotmail.com
Currently I am reading Tell It to Naomi by Daniel Ehrenhaft. It's a pretty easy read and it's kind of cliche, but I am so far enjoying it. I would give it 3 stars.

bearpooh_333@hotmail.com
I recommend that everybody read Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson. The book is about this girl who called the cops at a party. Then all her friends hated her because of it but they did not even know the real reason. When school starts again she has no friends and people hate her. She stresses what happened. I rate this book 4 1/2 stars!

crazychill123@yahoo.com
A book I am reading right now is called Monster by Walter Dean Myers. I know that this is a popular book and that many people have read it. I have read it before as well. It is truly a good book and I really like it. It is about a boy who is being tried for murder and he is in jail. He is telling his whole story in a movie form. It is very touching because he tells you how he feels about himself and other people. He also tells about how he feels about being in jail. He is very scared but he sticks through it. Pick this book up to see about the rest. It is very good.

kbella685@adelphia.net
I am currently reading the book Pass It On by J. Minter. It's the second in the Insiders series. Normaly you read a story about a girl and all her problems in life. There's nothing wrong with this, I love those stories, but it's nice to hear a story from the guy's point of view. This book is kinda like The A-List by Zoey Dean but it's in NY and is about five best friends and all their escapades in the city.

AngelDevil90@msn.com
Letting Go of Bobby James, Or How I Found My Self of Steam by Valerie Hobbs.
This book is one of the best books I ever read. It doesn't only open the eyes of the readers and let them realize the problems that a person can go through, but it also has a great ending and shows how a single person can win over their problems. I strongly agree that this book motivates all the young people who are in a dangerous relationship to move forward and have a better situation.

maclaren.k@sympatico.ca

crazychill123@yahoo.com
I would highly recommend Forged by Fire by Sharon M. Draper. It was about a boy and his sister who suffer from serious abuse by their father and neglect by their mother. Watch as they experience many crises in their lives and how they pull through it with each other's strength. It is really a good book. Check it out. Real hot.

ohdude186@aol.com
I recommend So Hard to Say by Alex Sanchez. It was really good and will teach you to look deeper beneath people's exteriors. It'll take you back to junior high, too, and make you feel nostalgic about how mean people could be back then. 5 stars.

ucdiana3@nycap.rr.com
The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks. This is an awesome book. It's a love story that seems so fake that it couldn't possibly have been true. It will make you laugh, it will make you cry, but mostly it will make you wish you had someone just like Noah...

jasminec662@aol.com
I have recently started reading a lot of great books. I have also fallen in love with Barnes and Noble and other bookstores. But anyway, here are some great books to read (in no particular order):

Better Than Running at Night by Hillary Frank. 5 stars.
The Body of Christopher Creed by Carol Plum-Ucci. 4 stars.
Dreamland by Sarah Dessen. 5 stars.

awesome_lil_blondey_chick88@hotmail.com
I recommend Snakecharm, Book 2 of the Kiesha'ra Series by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes. It's the sequel to Hawksong. This is an incredibly well written story. I can't wait until the others come out! 5 stars.

intheeventof78@yahoo.com
I am currently submersed in The Da Vinci Code. It is one of the most wonderful books I've ever read. It is ingenious and I'm in awe of Dan Brown and his writing abilities. The Da Vinci Code keeps me turning the pages late into the night. Its topics included religion, but you do not have to know about to enjoy this book. It has an intricate, surprising plot that in the end, everything just fits together. It's my favorite book of all time.

meagan_berry@hotmail.com
The Other Boleyn Girl by Philippa Gregory was awesome! I couldn't put it down and it really gave you an idea of what happened to Anne Boleyn. It is very interesting and the secrets in the king's court make you want to keep reading! 5 stars!

Jagira_1234@hotmail.com
Right now I'm reading Don't Look Behind You by Lois Duncan.

I just finished Mercy's Birds by Linda Holeman, a quick random pick from the library, but it turned out to be better than I would've thought. 4 stars.

I would recommend Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson, 5 stars. I can relate to the main character.

A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith.
Even though it is set decades ago, everyone young and old can relate to one or two of these characters and understand how they feel as they pass through the many trials of an underprivileged life.

I would recommend The Year of Secret Assignments by Jaclyn Moriarty. I just finished reading it and I loved every word. The story is told through a series of letters, emails and bulletins. Every one of the characters is unique and keeps you reading. This book is funny, original and amusing. I'm suggesting this book for anybody who is looking for a light, enjoyable read. Teenreads.com already has a review of it, but I just liked it so much that I had to recommend it.

Right now I'm reading Life Is a Movie Starring You by Jennifur Brandt, and I really recommend you all to read this book. She writes about everything a girl needs to know, and it's so fun too! My self-confidence has become a lot bigger since I got this book and it has given me a lot of new ideas. Become a Pesky Meddlin' Girl, you too!

Blue is for Nightmares by Laurie Faria Stolarz. A great suspenseful, romantic, cute, funny, mystery book that you just can't put down!

White is for Magic by Laurie Faria Stolarz. The second book in her series, and it's even better! I spent a whole day reading this! Even funnier, and even more suspense. Not to mention cute!

I recommend those books to those who enjoy teen romance and witchcraft, as well as mystery and suspense. Both a definite 5 stars!

Also check out The Traveling Pants series by Ann Brashares! It's a must read! 5 stars!

I read Prom by Laurie Halse Anderson. I thought it was okay, not fantastic. I also read Looking for Alaska. It is the best book I ever read. It is so amazing and a truly wonderful book. I've read all the Gossip Girls books, which I love, and I just finished the 4th A-List book (Tall Cool One). It wasn't as good as the others but I didn't expect it to be. I really want to read Shrimp and also ttyl because the author is coming to my town.

I would recommend Night by Elie Wiesel. It's a historical book that will teach teens about the sufferings of the Holocaust and will make them appreciate their life even more. 5 stars.

The book that I recommend is called Angus, Thongs, and Full-Frontal Snogging by Louise Rennison. It's a great book that you can relate to as well as laugh with it. It was wonderful to read and I could hardly put it down.
