I really enjoy Jane's characters. Elizabeth is quick and always has a comeback. She's not afraid to speak her mind. I'm sure to imagine a women like her back in Austen's day was a remarkable thing.

The Virginity Club by Kate Brian
Rating: 5 Stars
When I first got this book I thought it was going to be boring, but I wanted to give it a chance. I WAS GLAD I DID!! This book is the best. It's about these 4 friends with totally different personalities, and they're all trying to get a scholaship, but with one condition: they need to be "pure" by the end of their High School year! A MUST READ!

It is a good story but somewhat hard to follow. Watch the movie and read the book at the same time --- the movie is word-for-word.

Renu
Molly Moon's Incredible Book of Hypnotism by Georgia byng

It's a really good book, but the only thing I hate about this story is that it finished! The story is greatly wielded into a strong-pulling pendulum that you can't get your eyes off.

Kelly
The Givenchy Code by Julie Kenner
Rating: 4 Stars
I recommend this book to any girl, because I'm sure guys won't appreciate the main characters' love of shopping and shoes. WARNING: make sure you have time to read it because once you start, you'll be hestitate to put it down. I'm sure your parents won't like it if you don't finish your homework. I know because I got a scowl from my parents.

Revenge Of the Wannabes by Lisi Harrison
Rating: 5 Stars
This book would be great for anyone who likes to spread gossip around, and this is also why I picked this book. It's about a group of girls who wants to make everyone else miserable and jealous. They want to become part of a clique, but can't, so they start one of there own to prove that they can start something and not just be the losers everyone else thinks they are. Deep down, they don't wnat to be this way, but as they say --- "It takes a lot to get in but it is even harder to stay in!"

Prisoners Under Glass by R. Patrick
Rating: 5 Stars
If you want a book that has adventure, sea witches, and glass globes, this is the perfect book! I think R. Patrick did a wonderful job on this novel about a young girl named Rachel who loses her mother, almost loses her father, and gains an evil step mother, Lyla. This is a fantastic and well-written book that I am grateful to have read to me in my class!

Dawn Before Darkness by Sharon Draper
Rating: 5 Stars
This was the best book I've ever read!

Kelsey
Pretties by Scott Westerfeld
Rating: 4 Stars
This book was very captivating. Usually, sequals aren't as good as the originals, but this is an exception. It's full of adventure, suspence, and love. It was completly thrilling. One thing I didn't like about it was the ending. I expected something better to happen to Tally after all she went through. That was a disapointment. Maybe the last book,SPECIALS, will have a better ending. I really hope so. All in all, this book is worth reading.

Kelsey
Twilight by Stephenie Meyer

The Alex Rider Series by Anthony Horowitz

Brooke
Twilight by Stephanie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
By far, this is one of the best vampire romance novels I've read.

After Isabella Swan moves to the small, cold, and rainy town of Forks (that never has any sunshine, by the way) she discovers 1) that she's in love, 2) that the person she's in love with could be the most dangerous person ever, but she doesn't care, and 3) the person shes in love with is a vampire.

The Bungler's Paradox by R. M. Wilburn
Rating: 5 Stars
THE BUNGLER'S PARADOX is a funny and exciting fantasy story about an eleven-year-old girl named Buggy Crenshaw. After her family moves to Lloyd's Hollow, Buggy begins to see weird things happening and she suddenly discovers she's quite magical. She learns that her fate lies in defeating the demon Electrocucius in order to save mankind. THE BUNGLER'S PARADOX is only the first book in the series, "In Search of the Nexus" and I can hardly wait for the second. I check online booksellers almost everyday for it!

The Prisoners Under Glass by R. patrick
Rating: 5 Stars
I loved this book. It's full of adventure and is so cool that Ruthven Patrick reads her book to us on the mornings of school :)

Brooke
Tithe: A Modern Faerie Tale by Holly Black
Rating: 5 Stars
If you love fantasy mixed with modern life, then this is the best book to read. TITHE has an awesome spin on mystical creatures (pixies, trolls, etc.), making them more real, and not all happy-go-lucky. It has an original and interesting plot that many would like, and it keeps you hooked till the end.

Brooke
The A-List Series by Zoey Dean
Rating: 5 Stars
A fun read that follows the life of Anna Percy, a sophisticated Upper East Side schoolgirl who moves to California to live with her dad after wanting some change in her boring lifestyle in New York. It's like the Gossip Girl series, but set in Beverly Hills, filled with the same excessive spending, the gorgeous people, but with a whole lot more meaness from the girls.

Xie
Lord of the Rings by J. R. R. Tolkien
Rating: 5 Stars
This is the best story ever written!!! J. R. R. Tolkien was a genius. These books are written in an 18th-century form with strong themes of love, death, courage, war and friendship. Although these books are long, they are worth every second it takes to read them. I would recommend LORD OF THE RINGS to everyone who likes fantasy in the slightest. This epic could move anyone to tears.

Gossip girls: Nothing Can Keep Us Together by Cecily Von Ziegesar
Rating: 5 Stars
The "Gossip Girl" books are amazing. They are a great combination of drama and romance. The storyline is outrageous, but is still believable --- there definitely could be a bunch of high school seniors in New York who do whatever they want, and no one not even their parents, care. Their parents are so self-involved with their own problems and/or lives that they just don’t notice. These books are a great way to escape and dive into someone else's point of view, even if that other person isn’t real. Another great thing about these books is you can honestly never doubt that something is coming or that she won't express something in her writing, because she will.

Brooke
The Mediator Series by Meg Cabot
Rating: 5 Stars
You follow Susannah Simon, a 16-year-old girl who's a mediator --- someone who can see, touch, and talk to the dead. She moved from New York to California when her mother marries someone else after her dad dies (even though she still sees him with the whole 'talking to the dead' thing, going for her) and finds out there's a hot Latino guy who lives in her new room in Cali. Did I mention he's a ghost from the 19th century?

The series is full of every genre you can imagine and you'll never want to put the books down. Its a must read.

Millie
Misty Nights by Brittany Lawrence
Rating: 5 Stars
Night is a vampire who falls in love with Mist. She, by the way, is a key to a huge vampire secret. Mist is human and falls for Night because she's never loved anyone the way she loves him. Night ends up taking Mist with him back to his castle, staying months on end, then returning her home before the night is over. How cool is that! Also, the author is our age --- she is fourteen and was born in Colorado! She looks pretty from her picture, but I can't believe a teen could write something so great!

Sydney
Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas by James Patterson
Rating: 5 Stars
This was a really good book!!! It started out happy, then turned sad, and was then happy again!! It is about love and family.

Rebecca
Twilight by Stephanie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
I love this book, it's amazing. The way Stephanie Meyer describes the vampires are like nothing I have read before, and I hope to God there is a sequel --- I want to know what happens to Edward and Bella!

Bookworm
Beast by Donna Jo Napoli
Rating: 3 Stars
It was good, though reading the beast's point of view seems to lessen the story. I only gave it three stars because I don't believe it captures the true Beauty and the Beast feeling.

werewolfgirl14
Eragon by Christopher Paolini
Rating: 5 Stars
I love this book --- everyone who likes magic, adventure, and dragons will love this. So much happens to Eragon in this first installment: he finds Saphira, becomes a rider, and loses his uncle. In the sequel, ELDEST, he goes to live with elves and learns their powerful magic. He learns to look more like an elf, and fight like them. I have to read the next book to see what happens to Eragon and his cousin, Rowen.

Honey, Baby, Sweetheart by Deb Caletti
Rating: 5 Stars
I have not yet finished the book yet --- I am about half-way through and I just can't stop reading it. It is AMAZING!

My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult
Rating: 5 Stars
This is one of the first books that I have read by Jodi Picoult. It was very touching, and there were nights when I could not sleep because I couldn't put the book down. It kept my interest and I highly recommend it.

In My Sister's Keeper, Anna Fitzgerald was conceived and born so that she could provide genetically compatible body fluids and parts for her older sister, Kate, who suffers from leukemia. When Kate is 16 and Anna is 13, Kate needs a kidney transplant and Anna balks at giving up one of hers. She hires a lawyer to petition for medical emancipation from her parents, so that she alone can make decisions about her body. It's a decision that threatens to tear the family apart, from her mother who gave up a law practice to be a stay-at-home mom, an older brother who feels left out, and her father who wavers between choosing sides. Jodi Picoult's novel examines the inner workings of a family struggling to find love, and life, within all their relationships. My Sister's Keeper has received strong reviews with the San Jose Mercury News saying, "My Sister's Keeper is a terrific book, right down to the final surprise."

Alexandra
Prisoners Under Glass by R. Patrick
Rating: 5 Stars
This book is super interesting. You can't put it down. It's about a girl named Rachel Windover whose mother disappeared and father is in a love trance from a shop owner named Lilah. Lilah sells souvenirs that force Rachel to embark on a journey, causing her to fight and defeat sea witches and dark magic. If you are interested in dark magic and witches, then you'll probably love this book.

Emily
Looking for JJ by Anne Cassidy
Rating: 4 Stars
This is definitely Anne Cassidy's best book so far. I read MISSING JUDY, TOUGH LOVE, LOVE LETTERS, and BIRTHDAY BLUES last year and thought they were fantastic, but the way the author gets inside the mind of a killer and portrays their thoughts and emotions is mind-blowing.

Emily
The Vanished by Celia Rees
Rating: 4 Stars
This is one supernatural thriller I won't forget in a hurry. It is dark, chilling, and clever from the first page but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who's prone to bad dreams.

Emily
Nothing Can Keep Us Together by Cecily Von Ziegesar
Rating: 5 Stars
I love this book. Like all the others in the series, it is girly and full of gossip. I think it is great the way the author switches from one character to the other, constantly changing your mind about who you hate and who you feel sorry for. And like gossip itself, the book produces that guilty pleasure created by talking about something you really shouldn't, but finding it impossible to keep it to yourself.

Colleen
Who Needs Boys? by Stephie Davis
Rating: 5 Stars
Great book.

Colleen
Princesses Don't Sweat by Kaz Delaney
Rating: 5 Stars
This is pretty funny and very good, and the ending was totally whacked. Madeline (the main character) said "eoooww!" way to much, but it was a great book anyway...

Sharon
The Mediator Series by Meg Cabot
Rating: 5 Stars
These books were great. They are about a girl in a Catholic school in california who can see and speak to ghosts who haven't gone to the "other side." Cabot does a great job with the relationhsip between Suze and the ghosts she helps.

Emily
Prisoners Under Glass by R. Patrick
Rating: 5 Stars
PRISONERS UNDER GLASS is the ideal adventure story for readers of all ages. I have been a huge Harry Potter fan for years, but it is clear to me now that R. Patrick's amazing ability to take everything you've ever wanted in a story and so flawlessly put it into the pages of this wonderful book makes Hogwarts seem dull and drab. Whether you love lively fantasy adventures, poetic descriptions of faraway lands, or flowing dialogue, this epic tale will bring you tears of joy. This is, without a doubt, the greatest story I have ever had the pleasure to read.

Karen Gold
True Confessions of a Hollywood Starlet by Lola Douglas
Rating: 4 Stars
Morgan, er, um, Claudia is a teen movie personality who bottomed out on drugs and has been through rehab. Her mom thinks she can't really recover in the spotlight with her old, rich, famous drug buddies, and her agent says she can't get a job anyway because as a druggie she is too expensive to insure. They dye her hair and give her an alias and hide her in a midwest high school. Amazingly, there are a few nice people there...

Fabiola
The Prophecy of the Stones by Flavia Bujor

I really liked the love story that this book told. It showed the truth about the way that first love really is, and it didn't make it seem perfect.

Latasha
ttyl by Lauren Myracle
Rating: 4 Stars
I liked the way that this novel was written completely in instant message, but at times that did make it a little hard to follow. I would love to read more about the three girls in the novel, though.

Rachael
The Will of the Empress by Tamora Pierce
Rating: 5 Stars
THE WILL OF THE EMPRESS is a companion to the "Circle of Magic" and the "Circle Opens" quartet. This book brings the four young ambient mages back together again. They don't automatically get along, though. They are adults and have grown apart. Tris is afraid that they will think she is conceited because she can scry on the wind, Sandry destroys three people to protect her student, Daja makes something for someone that helped him kill people, and Brair has seen horrors that haunt him, and he doesn't want to share them with anyone that haunt him. Will these four mages find their magical connection once again?

Blackthorn Winter by Kathryn Reiss
Rating: 5 Stars
I really loved this book. I don't usualy read murder mysteries, but this one was very well written. its a little creepy, but since it's a teen read, its not too bad. Once you pick it up, you won't be able to put it down until you figure out the mystery. Well, at least that's what happened to me ;)

Jessica
The Lords of Discipline by Pat Conroy
Rating: 5 Stars
This book, THE LORDS OF DISCIPLINE, really was good. I started reading it for a school assignment and definitely wasn't interested. But after reading the entire thing, I realized just how good it truly was. It is about a guy named William McLean, and his schooling at the South Carolina Military Institute. I personally am not a fan of military books, but this one was really great. It even made me cry at the shocking ending.

Go get it, and read it, because it's truly awesome.

Chey
The Foretelling by Alice Hoffman
Rating: 4 Stars
THE FORETELLING has an amazing world in it. It's a good book for girls to read because it is about a race of strong warrior women and their horses. Hoffman tells the story of a girl becoming a woman in a world that knows nothing of love, peace, mercy, or men. "The weak are cruel: the strong have no need to be."

Chey
Tithe by Holly Black

After finding out that she is not a girl at all but a pixie, she enters a world of ruthless faerie queens, deadly faerie knights, and an ancient struggle for power in the kindoms of the fay. Read this book to find out what happens when they try to use Kaye as a pawn in their feud.

It's a great read for people who like figuring out the mysteries, because everything in this book is connected and they all tie together at the end! DREADFUL SORRY is a perfect mix of mystery, romance , adventure and creepy nightmares that become real!

The Cry of the Icemark by Stuart Hill
Rating: 4 Stars

Janet
Eragon by Christopher Paolini

Meg
Maine Squeeze by Catherine Clark
Rating: 4 Stars
I enjoyed this book. It wasn't too serious or adventurous, but it told a good story about summer loves and friendship. It is about a girl and her friends who share a house. Colleen had a boyfriend named Evan last summer, but she is now dating Ben. But Evan comes back and stirs things up... so if you like books like this then you will love this one.

Kaily
ttyl by Lauren Myracle
Rating: 2 Stars
This book really has no plot and it drags on in IM conversation (using abbreviations and acronyms that I don't even use or know all that well). I plan to stop reading it.

Morena
The Key to the Golden Firebird by Maureen Johnson
Rating: 4 Stars
THE KEY TO THE GOLDEN FIREBIRD is a funny, yet heartfelt story that follows the lives of three sisters, May, Brooks, and Palmer as they cope with the sudden death of their father. The three Gold sisters are very different, but they all realize the importance of one another as they struggle with harsh reality and when, at last, the key to their father’s beloved Pontiac Firebird is found. This is an impressive novel whose moral declares that everything you’ve taken for granted can vanish unexpectedly, but although you may be afraid to let go, you must learn to appreciate what you already have.

Corinne
Twilight by Stephanie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
This book is absolutely ah-mazing. It was very well writen, and I could find myself not wanting to put it down. I now find myself rereading certain chapters over and over again, not being able to wait for the sequel. It's definitely the best book of 2005.

Rating: 5 Stars
This book is amazing! Once I started reading it, I could not put it down. They way Mrs. Meyer portrays her characters makes them feel so real, and how she describes them left me ecstatic. It is the perfect combination of fantasy (the Vampires) and realistic fiction about a teenage girl. TWILIGHT is a definIte must read for anyone who loves those books that suck you in for hours on end.

Abarat by Clive Barker
Rating: 5 Stars
A New York Times Bestseller, this book was a definite page turner. It kicks into overdrive from the very first page! The fantasy and adventure and oil-painted pictures really make you feel like you are there. Candy Quackenbush is an average teenage girl. She lives a very dull life in Chickentown MN (a.k.a. Dullsville). Candy is curious about everything around her and she just wants to get away. She also just wants something more.... One day during school, when Candy gets yelled at by the teacher, she runs out of the school and keeps running, not looking back until she ends up in a deserted field of nothing but tall grass. She comes face to face with a creature with seven heads called John Mischief, and that is when her adventure begins to the islands...There is so much in this book that even if I tried to tell you, I couldn't. Clive Barker's imagination is amazing --- It's filled with color and magic, making ARABAT absolutely phenomenal and spell binding. It's one of those books that you read all night under the covers. Though it's 432 pages, you actually want it to be longer! It's a book that you would want to buy, rather than borrow. I haven't read the sequel yet, called DAYS OF MAGIC, but I'm dying to! I have three words for you: READ THIS BOOK!

Tavia

Uglies by Scott Westerfeld
Rating: 5 Stars
This book quickly became one of my favourites. It's about a girl living in a world with only two kinds of people: the pretties and the uglies. The main character wants so badly to become a pretty, which she will become when she turns 16. Then, she learns things that make her wonder if becoming a pretty is such a good thing after all.

A Great And Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray
Rating: 5 Stars
I was at Waldenbooks when I saw this. I looked at it, and tried desperately to seek what magical words were hidden behind the cover. The cover looked interesting enough, but then books cannot be judged by the covers. So, I bought it for 8.95 and started reading it that night. It was so thrilling that I could not put it down. Set in the mid 1800's, Gemma Doyle is 16, and she lives with her mother and maid in India. Gemma truly hates India, and wants to go to England where her grandmother is. Her mother says it's too dangerous, but Gemma persists. Little does she know what is waiting for her on the other side, when in an alley she sees a dark shadow hover over a man and just practically eat him. Then, she eyes her mother, who looks up in terror, grabs a knife, and kills her self before the shadow can engulf her. Gemma is sent to the same boarding school her mother attended and joins a club called The Order. With shadows lurking in every unexpected corner, a gypsy, 4 girls, and an art teacher who tells them legends, this school year will be exciting. This is a thrilling adventure that will get you creeping under your covers and looking at the walls in search of dark images, A GREAT AND TERRIBLE BEAUTY is truly a must read for teens out there WHO are interested in magic and the unknown.

The Ruby in the Smoke by Phillip Pullman
Rating: 4 Stars
This was hard to get into, but it's good once you do get into it. A girl named Sally Lockhart lives in England and her father is killed. She slowly unravels the mystery of her father's death. I haven't finished it, but it's very good so far.

The Truth about Forever by Sarah Dessen
Rating: 5 Stars
This is such a good book.

Emily
Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden
Rating: 5 Stars
This was a stunning book, captivating from the very beginning. It is about a girl named Chiyo, who is sold to an okiya and trained to be a geisha. This book covers a large period of her life, from when she was about eight years old until her sixties. It talks about what it was like to be a geisha, the trials she faced in becoming one, what happens when she falls in love with someone she is not supposed to love, and World War II. This was an excellent book, but probably for a more mature audience, such as fifteen or sixteen-year-olds.

This is a great book!

Latasha
Flowers in the Attic by V.C. Andrews
Rating: 5 Stars
Although many people would not classify this book as "appropriate" for teens, I believe that it opened my eyes to many things --- the first thing being how sad and hateful life and people really can be. This book is not the most up-to-date, but it is written so powerfully that you can feel every emotion that the children are feeling --- their pain, their desperation, and most of all, their loneliness. A remarkable book for generations, and still will be generations yet to come.

Rating: 4 Stars
I really like this book, which is a sequel to HOMECOMING. It picks up right where that one let off and continues to let you know how life is going for the Tillerman children. I was a little disapointed with some parts of the novel, but overall, it was spectacular.

Love Letters: Perfect Strangers by Jahnna N. Malcom
Rating: 3 Stars

Amee
A Million Little Pieces by James Frey
Rating: 4 Stars
I am only about a fourth into the book, but it is very interesting. It is sad because he feels he cannot overcome his drug and alcohol addictions and you want him to see that he can so much.

Amelia Bow
Island of the Blue Dolphins by Scott O'Dell
Rating: 5 Stars
This great book is a classic. My mom said she read it when she was my age, so I wasn't even sure if it would be for me... but it was. It had a great story line and was a bit sad, yet exciting. I cannot imagine how lonely it must have been for a young girl to survive alone all those years. She befriends the animals and lives in tune with nature. She becomes a heroine for her people. It's a good thing she survives to be able to leave clues to her culture behind for all to learn.

Christina
The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald
Rating: 5 Stars
This book has many hidden signs that link themselves to life today, although it was written orginally aobut the 1920's. This book makes you think about how everyone is connected to everyone, even if they have never meet before. It also has a little bit of a triangle of affairs and a tangled web of love. A man named Gatsby is in love with Daisy who was his love 5 yrs ago, but didn't marry him. Instead, she married a man with money and Gatsby made it his goal to get her back by making his own money. He succeeds, but this becomes his greatest downfall. I recommend this book to anyone who likes to try and make connections while reading, and who like to see the bad guy get what he deserves.

Tim Bow
Skybreaker by Kenneth Oppel
Rating: 5 Stars
More action and adventure with our buddy, Matt Cruse. I could not put the book down and finished it in 2 days. It's a real page-turner and is a great read for boys or girls. I hope Kenneth Oppel can make this a trilogy or quintet. (hint, hint)

My Heartbeat by Garret Freymann-Weyr
Rating: 5 Stars
Although this book didn't take me very long to read, it made a great impact on the way I look at people and the enviroment around me now. MY HEARTBEAT is about a girl whose brother (Link) and his best friend (James) are the closest people to friends she has had. She learns to look at people in a completely different way because of a comment someone made about Link and James. She has been in love with James since forever and he teachers her to see people and not just look at them. I loved this book and I think that if you like reading about people who relate to your life situation, then this is a book for you.

Ella Enchanted by Gail Carson Levine
Rating: 5 Stars
This book is about Ella, who as a baby was "blessed" with a gift of obedience, which instead bwcomes more of a nightmare. For example, if someone told her to cut off her own head, she would have to do it! She finds the fairy who gave her this "gift," but the fairy then tells her she will have to break it herself! Will Ella reverse this awful curse before it is to late? This book was very good, but different from the movie. I give it 5 stars.

Life of Pi by Yann Martel
Rating: 4 Stars
In an amazing story of survival, Pi --- a young Indian boy --- does his best to keep sane in the middle of an ocean. This book brings out all of your emotions, making you feel peace and horror at the same time. During some parts, this book is a bit slow; but, in the epilogue ---- it is just... "wow." Last year I read over 34,000 pages for school, but out of all of those books this would have to be the most memorable.

Cassie
The Second Summer of the Sisterhood by Anne Brashares
Rating: 4 Stars
I'm about halfway through this book and I think it's just as wonderful as it's prequel, THE SISTERHOOD OF THE TRAVELING PANTS. Bridget's story is especially interesting because it digs deeper into what her mother was like. Lena is also learning a secret her mother has been keeping, while Carmen is afraid her mother is being foolish in her newfound relationship. Meanwhile, Tibby is at a film festival and busy remembering an old friend.

Rona Hsu
The Stranger by Albert Camus
Rating: 4 Stars
Typically I don't like school-assigned books, but this one is special. It's almost right up there with THE GREAT GATSBY and THE CATCHER IN THE RYE.

If you like deep and philosophical thinking, this is the book for you. On the surface level, the protagonist is hard to like, but you need to extract the underlying messages to get what Camus is trying to say. The protagonist lives an existentialist life-style, which can be interpreted in many different ways. It's all up to the reader.

This book is great. I personally think that is better than the movie because it seems so much more realistic. You can really feel the fear of the characters. You'll just absolutely love it.

The Second Summer of the Sisterhood by Ann Brashares
Rating: 5 Stars
Ann Brashares is one of my favorite authors. In this sequel, you can relate to what's happening now in reality. The problems in this story can be paralleled with world problems. It's so much better to be able to read about actual issues than things that would never happen.

Hoopster by Alan Lawrence Sitomer

This was a good book. The backdrop is basketball, but don't let that scare you away. The main theme is prejudice and how one young man speaks out.

You have to read this book. It may seem like a girl book, but boys in my class have read it too. One thing I like is that the author, Louise, shares my first name. Anyway this is extremely funny.

Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson

This book is so good. It has humor, drama, and suspense. It contains so much symbolism, like the "tree." SPEAK has a great moral to the story about always speaking up when something goes wrong. Always.

King of the Wind by Marguerite Henry
Rating: 4 Stars
This book was truly amazing --- it's about a boy in Morroco working in the Sultan's stables, who has a horse that can outrun all the other horses in the stables. Sham (the horse) is sent with his boy-caretaker, Agba, as a gift to the King of France. Sham is sold and Agba goes with him, but they are beaten, sold again, and finally end up in the Earl of Godolphin's stables, were Agba works as a horse boy until the Lady Roxana comes. Lady Roxana is a horse meant to be bred with another horse named Hobgoblin, but Sham was let out and he beat up Hobgoblin. After Agba and Sham are exiled to a marsh, Roxana gives birth to a foal. The Earl names it Lath and thinks nothing more of it until, one day, he outruns 16 other horses, most of which are older than him. Sham is brought back to the stables and given the title,''The Godolphin Arabian,'' and all of his sons win the Newmarket races, and he is named King of the Wind, and Father of the Turf, until his death in 1789.

I was never really into the vampires like a few of my friends, but somebody said this was a great read. So, I thought I would give it a shot, and it was awesome. Edward seems really hot, and really nice. If I were him, I would have seriously bitten Bella. I can't wait till the sequel comes out in October of 2006!!

Go Ask Alice by Anonymous
Rating: 5 Stars
GO ASK ALICE was amazing. If you haven't read it already, you simply must! It made me laugh, cry, and really think about the life of a drug addict. I don't do drugs, and I don't want to, but this made me realize how they really ruin your life!

This book is a diary of this girl, Alice, who starts off as a normal teen, trying to find her place in the world, and ends up in a mental hospital! I won't tell you the story, because that will ruin it, but if you are ready for a really good, addicting read, go out and "Go Ask Alice"!
