The Astonishing Adventures of Fanboy and Goth Girl by Barry Lyga
Rating: 4 Stars
Have you ever felt like a geek in your life? I know everybody knows that feeling because it's impossible for one person not to feel like that, even just for once. This book portrays that everybody becomes a geek at one point in their lives, but becoming one doesn't mean you will never be happy. You just have to find your Goth Girl to help inspire you do the things you want to do. Everybody, even geeks or whatever you may be, have the inner strength to be something they want to be. Read this book, it's full of reality (especially the kind of reality that usually happens in high school).

Angels on Sunset Boulevard by Melissa de la Cruz
Rating: 4 Stars
Johnny Silver is gone and you think you know the reason why. Well think again. This book explores the social, modern and high-priced cult called The Angels' Practice that is based in Los Angeles. In this book, the author reflects to the readers a moral that everything that is nice and fun to do isn't always the safe and right choice.

The Love Curse of the Rumbaughs by Jack Gantos
Rating: 4 Stars
The author describes an experience that is weird but captivating because you know that what the characters did to their mother is understandable, even though it's illegal. This book is full of mystery, yet still full of truth, and when you realize that you already know the love curse, you feel like thinking twice if what your reading is true.

ECLIPSE is the great sequel to TWILIGHT and NEW MOON and it was awesome. I couldn't put it down. The story sucked me in --- I never got bored and I wished it would never end. The story of Edward, the loving vampire, vs. Jacob, the also-loving werewolf, would draw in any teen reader.

Pretty Little Liars by Sara Shepard
Rating: 4 Stars
PRETTY LITTLE LIARS is a different kind of 'teen fiction' novel. It has all of the boy trouble and girl drama that makes for a good story line, but it also has an intriguing plot about a group of tight friends who --- because of one horrible tragedy --- have split over the years. Now, older and distant, they come together to solve a mystery that continues to haunt them. It is interesting and has many twists in it.

Love vampires?? Well, get rid of all the garlic because it won't be of any use, and be ready for this book because it's loaded with the fangs that you wish you have. It's different from the typical vampire stories that we are all used to know, and what's better is that the plot of the story is so awesome you won't be able to put the book down until you finish it completely. I can't wait for the other sequels...and prequels of the blue bloods.

The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen
Rating: 5 Stars
Because this book has detail into the main character's father's tragic death, this book may seem depressing and no fun. That is not what it is. Sarah Dessen did a marvelous job of creating an honest book that takes the reader through the life of a girl who overcomes the loss of her father, which helps her to realize that the life she thought she needed isn't what is right for her at all, and that that her mom, has been there all this time. Of course, there is a love story in the mix for the main character --- should she hold on to her boyfriend who keeps her balanced, or go with the guy who helps her stand on her own two feet?
This book is amazing. I finished it very quickly because I just could not put it down. "What is the truth about forever?" the reader has this question answered for them.

After reading TWILIGHT, I just had to read NEW MOON and keep the story going. I was truly amazed once again by this author. NEW MOON was awesome! The story picked up right where it left off and I was surprised by the new twists and turns that were brought to the story; but, I'm am still loving it. I find I am rooting for new characters and just can't put the book down. I am sooo excited for the third book to come out! I absolutly cannot wait for this story to continue! I highly recommend this to someone who has read TWILIGHT first. But then, of course, anyone who reads TWILIGHT will need no convincing to keep moving on! These stories are truly amazing and well written!!! I give 2 thumbs up!!! 5 golden stars! And everything else to the max!

I read TWILIGHT because it was recommended by practically everyone I know. I had high expectations because of the many complements on it, and you know what, it was better than I even expected! TWILIGHT is awesome. It's a fictional story that you can find yourself in. I was hooked and couldn't put it down until I was done. Luckily, I had the sequal ready to read as soon as I was finished!!!! I recommend TWILIGHT to everyone!!! When I first heard about it, I thought that there was no way would I like a book about vampires. I'm not into that sort of thing, but my friend said, "Trust me, it's not like that. You'll like it," so I said ok. It was awesome!! It's not all freaky, but still fun at the same time! It is truly one of the best books I have ever read!

You can easily find ways to relate to the character and just feel like you've become her friend, but you feel sorry for her as well. | Rating: 4 Stars |
Yes, I liked this book. It was very good. I probably wouldn't say that it is my favorite book, but I still think it was very good. It definetly brought the girls to whole different worlds, but still kept them together. I like how no matter what they go through, they always have each other to help them keep on going.
So, I would say it was good and I would recommend the series to people who are into that sort of thing, but I wouldn't recommend it to everyone.

Dairy Queen by Catherine Murdock
Rating: 2 Stars
I didn't really like DAIRY QUEEN very much. I read it because I saw it was recommended on the site. But once I started reading it, I felt like it was very slow moving, like the story wasn't really going anywhere anytime soon. I liked the parts when she's hanging out with the guy, but then just the rest of the book didn't really put me in a good mood. I guess I personally didn't really like the ending either. I also thought it was extremely weird about the best friend because just because the main character is a tomboy or does all the farmwork that that's makes people assume that such thing about her. I guess if you've read the book then you know what I'm talking about!
Anways...I personally didn't really like the book too much. It wasn't horrible, but I guess it's not one I'd like to read again or classify as one of my favorites.

Just finished reading this book, and I stayed awake till 2 in the morning to finish reading it. Jenny goes to a new boarding school after being kicked out of her old school in NYC. Gossip, rumors and scandals make this book a must. I recommend this to fans of the Gossip Girl, A-List and Clique series.

THE GIVER is, by far, the best book I have ever read. This book takes you to their community, and makes you think about their customs, their traditions. It turns my thinking gears on and makes me wonder what it would be like living in their society. THE GIVER is such an original book. The mental images are so clear, so vivid. When the Receiver feels pain, I feel pain. It is such an amazing book, I highly recommend this book to anyone who likes to read.

This book was absolutely amazing. It was written in all IMs [instant messages]. This storyline was great; it is about 3 best friends who try to make it through their high school years. It brings you inside of that character's mind. You get trapped inside these characters' worlds, and you can't get out. I have read this book at least 5 times.
There are three books in this series. TTYL, TTFN, and L8R G8R. I recommend all of them.

This book was so mesmerizing, i stayed up until 7 in the morning to finish it. It is a memorable and compassionate story that broke my heart. THE LOVELY BONES tells an inspirational story of death and the healing power of grief that follows.

Admittedly, it takes about 150 pages before the book becomes interesting, but once it does, it pulls you in. Much like in her sister's novel, you can't predict the next happenings in this book. Nothing is as you expect and it's very refreshing to have a plain and normal human being as the heroine.
