The Christopher Killer by Alane Ferguso
Rating: 5 Stars
I love this book.

weareattached
Living Dead Girl by Elizabeth Scott
Rating: 5 Stars
This book was not one you could put down. I'm lucky it was short enough that you didn't feel too bad. This is good for anyone who loves dark stories about the twisted, messed-up reality of some people.

CAM
On the Edge of the Dark Sea of Darkness by Andrew Peterson
Rating: 5 Stars
This is in one of the top 10 books I have ever read, and I read at least 2000 pages every month. I couldn't put it down.

N. Marshall
Sight by Adrienne Maria Vrettos
Rating: 4 Stars
This book is great. It keeps your attention the whole way through.

Meavis
Perfect by Natasha Friend
Rating: 5 Stars
PERFECT is the best name for this book because it is perfect. I loved it and can't stop thinking about it! I would recommend this book to girls only because it is about a girl with an eating disorder, who also has family issues. Well anyways, read PERFECT, go go go!

Emmaline
Good Enough by Paula Yoo
Rating: 5 Stars
A book about a Korean girl whose parents pressure her to do really well. Very good book.

Emmaline
Habibi by Naomi Shihab Nye
Rating: 5 Stars
The story about a girl who moves to Israel with her family. A very interesting book.

Addy
Runaway by Wendelin Van Draanen
Rating: 5 Stars
It's written in diary form and it's really good. If you like compelling stories that won't let you put the book down, than this is it!

Briana
I am the Messenger by Markus Zusak
Rating: 5 Stars
This book is very different from what I would usually read, and maybe that's why I like it so much. It's something different and has a little bit of everything in it. There's suspense, romance, comedy; you name it, it's in there. What I liked best about this book is how moving it was. It's one of those books that changes your life in a way that you'll see everything in a whole new light. I realized that even the smallest gestures can make the biggest difference in someone's life. This is definitely one of those feel good books and I recommend it.

Tricia Kelly
Spirit Boy by Tricia Kelly
Rating: 5 Stars
Teens --- I know a secret. You can manifest everything you have ever wanted...just like the adults who read THE SECRET and know about the Law of Attraction, SPIRIT BOY is a dramatic novel, only available on Amazon. See the LOA it in action and how these characters lifted above the odds and manifested their dreams once they realized the magic of the universe.

Whitney
Story Of A Girl by Sara Zarr
Rating: 4 Stars
It's a really good book to read.

Audrey Hartman
The Secret Diary of Anne Boleyn by Robin Maxwell
Rating: 5 Stars
This book starts off with Queen Elizabeth I, the infamous Anne Boleyn's daughter. Elizabeth knows very little about her mother, that is until an old lady comes to court bringing Anne's diary. The old woman says that Anne entrusted it to her to give to Elizabeth when she became queen. Elizabeth starts reading and learns about the woman she never knew and more about her tyrannical father.

I love historical fiction and everything to do with Anne Boleyn. It is awesome to finally read a book that shows her in a positive light.

Jordan
Catch Me If You Can by Frank W. Abagnale
Rating: 4 Stars
It is good. Fast paced.

Vanessa
The Luxe by Anna Godbersen
Rating: 5 Stars
This book was just absolutely amazing. The characters are believable and the writing is great. The time setting just makes it even cooler.

Morgan

Rating: 5 Stars

M.
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
Rating: 5 Stars
This book had the perfect combination of romance, adventure, and thriller. I love it and I strongly recommend everyone to buy it when it comes out in September.

Daisy
Sloppy Firsts by Megan McCafferty
Rating: 5 Stars
This is a really good book. Actually, the series is great! I think anyone and everyone would enjoy it as much as I did! It's everything you would want in a book. Oh, and did it make me laugh!

Jade
Flowers in the Sttic by V. C. Andrews
Rating: 5 Stars
One of my favorite books ever. It's pretty old, though.

Daisy
Lock and Key by Sarah Dessen
Rating: 5 Stars
This may be one of my favorite books. A lot goes on in this book. It's a sad, but sweet, story.

Mary
The Host by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 4 Stars
This book is really amazingly good. If you're used to the Twilight series, though, then it is quite a bit different. It's still awesome and good.

Elisabeth
Rage by Steven King
Rating: 4 Stars
It started our kinda boring, but once I got further into it, I couldn't put it down.

Brittany
Every Crooked Pot by Renee Rosen
Rating: 4 Stars
This is a true coming-of-age novel about a girl with a facial defect, which causes her to eventually feel like an outcast. She goes through many treatments, and just when she's about perfect, she realizes it doesn't matter what she looks like because she can still fall in love.

Bella
Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë
Rating: 5 Stars
It's a strange pick for a pleasure book, but I read some critical essays of it in English last year and thought it sounded amazing. With romance, morality, and early feminism, this is the best book I have ever read.

Medens
Everything You Want by Barbara Shoup
Rating: 5 Stars
I'm only halfway through, but so far it's been one of the best books I have ever read! Its just a combination of luck, friendship/relationship, and just getting everything you want (that money can buy because of a lucky duck) except for the one thing she really wants --- love.

Just go out to your local library or Barnes and Noble and get it! I promise you, you won't be sorry!

Yazmin
Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 4 Stars
I like the way Meyer did not leave it as Bella just telling the story, but let someone say what was going on and say how they felt about what was going on.

Cassy
Ninth Key by Meg Cabot
Rating: 4 Stars
This is the 2nd book in the Mediator series by Meg Cabot, about a teenage girl who can see and talk to ghosts. It's a very good book and I'd recommend it to anyone who loves to read.

Chelsea!
Cirque Du Freak by Darren Shan
Rating: 5 Stars
The best book on the planet! You better read it!

Faith C.
Cathy's Book by Sean Stewart and Jordan Weisman
Rating: 5 Stars
Cathy is in a big book of trouble. When her boyfriend suddenly dumps her, she sets off to find out why. What she doesn't expect is the consequence behind the answer. This book was way too short and will leave you hungry for more. The romance and incredible drawings make it unable to put down.

Faith C
Blondes Have More Felons by Alesia Holliday
Rating: 3 Stars
December Vaughn's law practice has taken a rocky start. After taking a case against a huge drug company, bad things are starting to happen. From a spray-painted car to stitches in the head, December is in a load of trouble. But with the help of her best friend, a 90 year old, and one very gorgeous P.I., December might be able to win this case...alive.

In my opinion, this book dragged on a bit. The plot is interesting, but the delivery was lacking. At points you just want to shout out get it over with! Not terrible, not excellent.

Meg
People of the Book by Geraldine Brooks
Rating: 4 Stars
Great!

Victoria M
Wicked by Gregory Maguire
Rating: 4 Stars
Remember in THE WIZARD OF OZ, there was the wicked witch of the west? Well this is basically her life story by a different author. It shows you why she's green and how she become evil. It's really imaginative and you can't stop reading it. One of the main focuses of the book is good vs. evil, which really helps you understand her.

Brendan
Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
A lot of talk was going around school about TWILIGHT --- "It is SO good, you have to read it," people would say. Then, my cousin read it and she urged me to read the novel as well. So finally, I gave in, and well, what do you know, it is now one of my favorite books. I cannot wait to get my hands of BREAKING DAWN, the newest in the Twilight Saga.

Jacqueline
Nation by Terry Pratchett
Rating: 4 Stars
I received an advanced reader's copy of this novel and it was very good. I loved the story of a boy who returns to his island village to discover that everyone he ever knew is gone and an English ship with one surviving girl is all that is really left. How he deals with the resulting issues makes the novel difficult to put down.

halie
Feed by M. T. Anderson
Rating: 4 Stars
This book gives me a realistic view of a future that goes really wrong. It's a very good book overall, and though it's a little slow, I would read it again.

Jesskah
Crank by Ellen Hopkins
Rating: 5 Stars
CRANK is a really good book and I would recommend it to any teenager!

jesskah

CRANK is a really good book and I would recommend it to any teenager!!

Emmaline
Dragon Heir by Cinda Williams Chima
Rating: 5 Stars
This is the sequel to THE WARRIOR HEIR and THE WIZARD HEIR. If you love fantasy, then you will love this book. It's action-packed and has some romance, too.

halie
Anyone But You by Lara M. Zeises
Rating: 5 Stars
It's not out yet, but I'm waiting for it and just by the summary, I think it'll be amazing.

Halie
Being by Kevin Brooks
Rating: 5 Stars
W-o-w. Read it. I mean really, it's the best book ever. He has others like it, too, but not in a series, I don't think.

halie
Twisted by Laurie Halse Anderson
Rating: 5 Stars
Amazing. I would recommend it to anyone, any day. If you read it, you would know where I was coming from. I read it a month ago and still can't get over it.

Halie
Crank by Ellen Hopkins
Rating: 4 Stars
A very good book. It was a little slow, but it had an amazing ending.

Halie
Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher
Rating: 5 Stars
This book is amazing. I would read it forever. I love it! But I need something new to read (such as IDENTICAL!) so please pick me!!! :)

Halie
The Taker by Julia Steele
Rating: 3 Stars
Very slow, but I liked the plot and concept the book had.

Alex
Nine Lives of Chloe King: The Fallen by Celia Thomson
Rating: 4 Stars
THE FALLEN has great characters and really good suspense. If you like supernatural thrillers, this book is for you.

M!CHAELA(its mi-kay-la)
Sixteen and Dying by Lurlene McDaniel
Rating: 5 Stars
I am a huge fan of Lurlene McDaniel and I'll read any of her books, but when I first picked this one up I thought that I wouldn't like it because it's about 16 years old. Seriously though, the connection between Anne and Morgan is so great. Check it out!

Michaela
Pretty Little Devils by Nancy Holder
Rating: 5 Stars
This book is great and intriguing. It keeps you guessing.

Jake
The Dangerous Days of Daniel X by James Patterson and Michael Ledwidge
Rating: 5 Stars
This book was awesome and packed with non-stop action. Another Patterson classic.

Mirabelle
The Luxe by Anna Godbersen
Rating: 4 Stars
THE LUXE is a very good book but I wish that they're was a little more mystery.

Christina
Pretty Little Liars by Sara Shepard
Rating: 5 Stars
It is one of the best series I have ever read. I can barely even put them down. I can relate to it, but still there is so much drama that keeps you interested!

whisper
Ink Exchange by Melissa Marr
Rating: 4 Stars
I have not finished it yet, but I will. My friend's mom gave me the first one and then the second (it is the one I am reading right now). It is about fairies (you are saying, "fairies, yeah right..." Well that is what I said when I got it, but you never know. I loved the first one) and it is really good. So if you like fairies, you should read this (it will change your minds about them), and if you don't you should still read them.!!! :) :]

Hope Boettcher
Lock and Key by Sarah Dessen
Rating: 4 Stars
This book was fantastic. It wasn't as gripping as JUST LISTEN or THIS LULLABY, but it was close! Sarah Dessen is a wonderful and insightful author!

Jamila
Runemarks by Joanne Harris
Rating: 5 Stars
The best fantasy I have read so far!

Jamila
Un Lun Dun by China Miéville
Rating: 5 Stars
Alice in wonderland-ish but with twists! It totally brings to the point that an UNchosen one CAN be the person to set off a destiny in the right direction!

Kelly
Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
I can't pick just one book from this series that was my fave. They were all so good! the way Stephenie writes is amazing; she gives amazing descriptions and has created an amazing plot and love story. This series is, by far, one of the best I have ever read and unfortunately, the movie coming out in Nov. just won't do it any justice. Everyone should read these books! Don't be intimidated by their size, they go by fast when you're caught up with the plot! ; )

Carol
Breaking Dawn by Stephanie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
What a great ending. We were built up for a fight and it was a good way to end the suspense!

Brittany
Lock and Key by Sarah Dessen
Rating: 5 Stars
This book was very good. It had so much detail and kept me hooked from beginning to end. It's about a girl who gets taken away from the entire life she knew, and put into one she thought was lost.

Bianca
Impulse by Ellen Hopkins
Rating: 5 Stars
This book is about people who have all tried to commit suicide and failed, and they are all at a rehab center. The story follows them through there recovery, but some of them might not make it...

Bianca
Drowning Anna by Sue Mayfield
Rating: 5 Stars
It's a really good example on how bullying in school can drive teens over the edge, sometimes to suicide. It's really good.

Marissa
Surrender by Sonya Hartnett
Rating: 5 Stars
An amazing story that I recommended to everyone. This book is a bit depressing and slightly confusing at the end, but well worth a read. Hartnett's writing is brilliant and vivid.

Marissa
Raven Rise by D. J. MacHale
Rating: 3 Stars
This Didn't hold my attention as I remember the books of this series used to. Recommended to younger readers who enjoy fantasy.

Marissa
Glass by Ellen Hopkins
Rating: 4 Stars
Slow at parts, but a great story that informs one about the dangers of addiction.

Marissa
Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 4 Stars
Not my favorite in the series, but I thought that it was a good way to close the saga.

Em
Breaking Dawn by Stephanie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
A very good book with a surprise twist. I loved the ending and I don't want to give anything away.

Linda
The Market by J. M. Steele
Rating: 4 Stars
Kate is a perfectly average girl. But when she discovers her rating on 'The Market', an online social chart that rates all the senior girls, she's determined to make her way up to the top --- even if it means sacrificing her friendship and love. I like how at the end, she doesn't quite get everything she wants, but is on the way to becoming a better person.

Ali C.
Stardust by Neil Gaiman
Rating: 3 Stars
I got this book because of the movie, and I have to say that I liked the movie version better. It just had a better story and was easier to follow and stay interested in.

D. Corey
Emily of New Moon by L. M. Montgomery
Rating: 3 Stars
It's a little old fashioned, but a nice change from some of the gruesome stuff I've been reading lately.

Ali C.
Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 2 Stars
I really thought this was a horrible ending to the Twilight Saga. This book had so much potential, but I felt that Meyer was too pressured to get out a great book that it fell short of just that.

Kathy
Marked: A House of Night Novel by P. C. Cast and Kristen Cast
Rating: 5 Stars
This book was really good. I'm a total vampire-aholic, so I read a lot of vampire books, and this one was the second best vampire series I have read, right behind Twilight< of course.

The cool part of this book is definitely that it has real issues that real teens face, including those evil popular-type girls.

Nicole
Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 4 Stars
Although this book was good, it wasn't as good as TWILIGHT (or ECLIPSE, for that matter). I think that the ending could have been better. There were some things that Stephenie Meyer could have done to make the ending more final. It was, after all, the last book in the world's best series ever written. xD

Clarissaaaaaa
To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee
Rating: 5 Stars
I know most of you will have to read it when you go to high school, but don't wait! This classic was amazing! Sure, the beginning was a little slow, but if you stick with it until the end, you won't regret it. You also might want to have a stress ball around while you're reading because at some points I thought I was gonna lose it.

Mo
Arianna Kelt and the Renegades of Time by J. R. King
Rating: 5 Stars
This was the best so much better than the first one, and that was amazing.

Mo
In the Service of Dragons IV by Robert Stanek
Rating: 5 Stars
So amazing! Anyone who hasn't read The Kingdoms and the Elves of the Reaches and In the Service of Dragons is missing out on the best books ever written. And the last one is best of all.

Dani
Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 1 Stars
I was so disappointed in the last book. Bella became a completely different person, someone to whom I could not relate. I feel that Stephenie Meyer wrote this book without her audience in mind.

Jordan
Spy Goddess: To Live and Let Shop by Micheal P. Spradlin
Rating: 3 Stars
A good read for a person who likes the fun spy/psychic stuff.

Jordan
Cross My Heart and Hope to Spy by Ally Carter
Rating: 4 Stars
Great!

Jordan
I'd Tell You I Love You, But Then I'd Have by Ally Carter
Rating: 4 Stars
Its great, but I think the author mentions certain things way too often.

Jordan
I Wanna Be Your Shoebox by Cristina Garcia
Rating: 3 Stars
It's ok, but it got a little repetitive in the middle.

Sara
The Nightmare Hall Series by Diane Hoh
Rating: 4 Stars
These books are really good. They are suspenseful and keep you guessing, but they don't scare you too much to read before going to sleep. I really like them.

Lauren
The Summoning by Kelley Armstrong
Rating: 5 Stars
This book was so good! I can not wait till the sequel comes out.

Rebecca
Patience, Princess Catherine by Carolyn Meyer
Rating: 4 Stars
Do you like to read about *real* princesses? It is not at all what I imagined and doesn't sound like much fun at all.

Shanice
The Catcher in the Rye by J. D. Salinger
Rating: 5 Stars
I was actually supposed to read this as a Summer Reading book, and looking at it, I thought that it would be one of those boring books all of the High School Teachers make you read. But, when I got past the first couple of pages, I really became interested in the character of Holden. He was so real about a lot of stuff, and was very funny too. I'm almost finished with it, and I can't wait to see what happens to him at the end. Too bad this book was never made into a movie, though. It would have been a very deep one.

By the way, I bet most people don't know why it is called that. I was confused, too, but once you read all (or most) of the book, you will see what a "catcher in the rye" is.

Bendrea
Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
BREAKING DAWN is one of my favorite books in the Twilight series. I just really love this book and the way it expresses Bella and Edward's love even more. A lot of my friends don't like the book as much as TWILIGHT because it's different and "boring." I have a different view on how they handle the book --- they just have to read it again to understand it, because the entirety of it is just great, and I really love it. Stephenie Meyer is like one of my favorite Authors. Go Stephenie Meyer!

Shannon
White is for Magic by Laurie Faria Stolarz
Rating: 5 Stars
This is a very fast-paced book that follows BLUE IS FOR NIGHTMARES. It keeps you on your toes and has a element of witchcraft.

Dani
Love Walked In by Marisa de los Santos
Rating: 5 Stars
One of the sweetest stories I've read in a long time. The ending was so good that as soon as I finished it, I went back and read the end again.

Kaitlynn
A Great And Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray
Rating: 5 Stars
Great book! It had a wonderful combination of possible (and hopeful) romance and suspense. I enjoyed it from beginning to end and look forward to reading the others in this series.

Nicole
Breaking Dawn by Steaphnie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
This was the best book in the series. I loved all of the twists like all of the vampires coming together and Jacob narrating.

Brandi Rae
Child of Dandelions by Shenaaz Nanji
Rating: 5 Stars
Great historical fiction that takes place in 1972 Uganda. President Idi Amin declares that all foreign Indians have 90 days to leave the country. The story follows 15-year-old Sabine and the effects that the declaration has on her and her family.

Anais S.
In the Time of the Butterflies by Julia Alvarez
Rating: 5 Stars
This book is about a group of sisters --- the butterflies --- who grow up in the Dominican Republic under Trujillo's rule. When they are older, they decide to help overthrow the dictator. As a result, they were ambushed and killed, and serve as symbols of martyrdom. This book was a great historical read about women who fight for rights, no matter what the consequences.

Bendrea
Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson
Rating: 5 Stars
SPEAK is such a great book. I had to read it summer, but I had read it a million times before. It is a great book for anyone who has been in a type of situation that they can't tell anyone about. I liked the way she handled herself and how she eventually got it out about what happened. I just love the book, and its a great step towards a goal someone like Melinda could take.

Cheyanne
New Moon by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
This book is amazing! The only time I put it down is when I really have to! Even then, I'm still anxious to go back to reading! It just keeps me so entertained and wanting more!

Rachelle
Night World by L. J. Smith
Rating: 5 Stars
A great book about vampires and such by the same author as the Vampire Diaries, which is also a great series.

Jordan
To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
Rating: 5 Stars
Love!

Lauren
Frenemies by Alexa Young
Rating: 3 Stars
I enjoyed this book as it was quite a fast read that really focused on the type of relationships girls often have with one another. The reason I only give it three stars, though, is because it focuses a ton on the world of fashion, which isn't really my type of book. I definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a new series, a fast read, those who love fashion, or simply, any reader of about 12/13 and up.

Jordan
Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
I loved it!

Chioma
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
Rating: 5 Stars
I got the advanced copy of this book from Teenreads. It's is one of the best books I have ever read. I recommend it to anybody who likes books in general. I put it write up there with the Uglies series.

Mira
Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
It was amazing. The second best book by Meyer yet. I would suggest reading it despite others negative reactions.

Jordan
Jake, Reinvented by Gordon Korman
Rating: 4 Stars
A little far-fetched, but good.

Nyna
New Moon by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 4 Stars
This was one of my favorite books I've read this summer. I think it was also my favorite book in the saga. This was because of the conflict with Edward and the Volturi wanting to keep him and Alice for their "collection." I thought TWILIGHTM ECLIPSE and BREAKING DAWN were really good books too. Though BREAKING DAWN could've been less gory.

Jordan
Peak by Roland Smith
Rating: 3 Stars

Great coming-of-age story from a guy's perspective. It's a story of family, friendship, chaos and a struggle for identity.

Hema
The Hunter Games by Suzanne Collins

I love the way he made the characters their personalities and their lives and how all of them change and become much better through a scary kidnapping.

This is a great story about how a father and son bond together by watching some of the best and worst movies together. It is nonfiction and a great and fast read!

Rebel Angels by Libba Bray
Rating: 4 Stars
So far, Libba Bray has surpassed her first novel, A GREAT AND TERRIBLE BEAUTY. Although I throughly enjoyed the first novel, this one has grabbed my attention from the first chapter. I just hope the series continues to be as thrilling as this book!

Rapunzel's Revenge by Shannon Hale and Dean Hale
Rating: 4 Stars
"Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your hair..."

In the original fairytale, Rapunzel is the classic damsel-in-distress type trapped in a tower by her foster mother until she is saved by the prince. Newbury award- winning author, Shannon Hale, and her husband Dean Hale have come out with a new graphic novel that puts a new spin on the old story.

Rapunzel is a sheltered girl living in a compound surrounded by guards and walls. She has never seen what lies beyond the walls and has been denied countless of times to venture outside by Mother Gothel. On her twelfth birthday, Rapunzel takes matter in her own hands and climbs over the walls. On this day of reckoning, she not only discovers the outside world but also that Mother Gothel is not who Rapunzel thought she was. What follows is the lockup inside the tower, or in this case, a tree. Years pass, until Rapunzel rescues herself and journeys on to save her real mother from Mother Gothel's cruelty with cross-dressing sidekick, Jack (from Jack and the Beanstalk) and his trusty goose.

A mix of fantasy and western cowboy genre, Hale spins a new outlook to the iconic Rapunzel character. She has become a spunky, fearless and independent outlaw fighting against both humans and creatures not of the human world. Full of humor, wit, and great illustrations (by Nathan Hale, no relation to Shannon or Dean Hale), this new graphic novel is a fun, modern hit in the fairytale genre.

The Kingdoms and the Elves of the Reaches #2 by Robert Stanek
Rating: 5 Stars
Most sequels aren't as good as the first one, but that's not the case with the Kingdoms and the Elves of the Reaches books. The second one is better than the first, the third is better than the second, and the fourth is better than the third. They're all great. I have read each one twice --- they are so awesome.

Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 3 Stars
BREAKING DAWN was worth the read, but it didnt quite live up to the standards of the other Twilight books. Although I enjoyed Jacob's narration, Bella's character didn't seem as real to me in this book.Of course, Stephenie Meyer did a great job because she is an awsome writer and I would encourage everyone to read the fourth book.

Audrey, Wait! by Robin Benway
Rating: 4 Stars
A funny and witty book to read if you've dealt with a breakup or countless --- not to mention unsettling --- humiliation. The character of Audrey completely draws you in from the first chapter. A definite must read!

The Andromeda Strain by Michael Crichton
Rating: 2 Stars
There were too many scientific terms and descriptions of processes that I didn't understand. If you're really interested in biology or science as a whole, then look into it, but if you're looking for a suspenseful novel then this isn't the book for you.

It's a classic, but can get very wordy at times. It's much different from the movie, but it's worth reading.

Most of her books can sound the same after a while, but this one was much more different than I expected. It was so easy to relate to the characters, and it's just a great beach read.

The Kingdoms and the Elves of the Reaches #1 by Robert Stanek
Rating: 5 Stars
I loved KINGDOMS AND THE ELVES OF THE REACHES! Every chapter has a new idea to it, as well as a good bit of action. Vilmos, Adrina and Seth are depicted so wonderfully that I could see them in my head as I read. I loved Robert's wonderful descriptive skills. It is a great book and you should read it too. The sequels are even better than the first one.

Wuthering Heights by Emily Brontë

The Devil's Highway by Luis Alberto Urrea

This was an excellent book that highlighted the issues on illegal immigration. It really opened your mind to what is going on, rather than what we generally perceive about immigration from the media. In some places, the book was hard to follow.

Hotlanta by Denene Millnet and Mitzi Miller
Rating: 5 Stars
I love this book! It's about two female teenagers discovering the secrets to the upcoming of their wealthy lifestyle! Secrets as to why their mother acts the way she acts at the mention of their biological father and how their stepfather, Altimus Duke, is doing more than running the car dealerships! It's alot of deceit and betrayal but you have to read top fins out whats really good in Atlanta!

The Book Muncher

This book was both funny and exciting. Claire's visions were a bit random, but very cool in the context that they actually helped save people's lives. I look forward to a sequel.

There is a lot of celebrity name dropping in this book. Instead of describing a character, they are compared to a different celebrity. The author also uses the work "cute" a lot to describe things. I think the concept is great, that is why I am trying to ignore the dumbed-down language and finish the book.
