PC Chic
Marked: A House Of Night Novel by P.C. & Kristen Cast
Rating: 5 Stars
MARKED is the first book in the House Of Night series. It's about Zoey, a completely normal girl until the tracker marks her and she has to go to the House of Night, a school for changing vampires. But soon, Zoey realises she's special: unlike her classmates at the House Of Night, she has been gifted by the the goddess. Will Zoey learn that what may appear dark is not always evil?

Zelah Green, Queen of Clean by Venessa Curtis
Rating: 5 Stars
ZELAH GREEN, QUEEN OF CLEAN is about a 14-year-old girl who suffers from OCD since her mother's death 2 years ago. With her upbeat personality her OCD doesn't tend to get her down, but now that everyone is noticing and it's getting out of hand, she is sent to a house where other teenagers are staying for behavioural treatment. At this house run by the Doc and dreamy Josh, Zelah makes and loses friends, goes from dirt alert to flirt alert when she meets troublesome Sol, and finds the determination to beat her illness. I could never put this book down! Curtis has adopted some serious issues and taken them in her stride to create a funny, realistic view on troubled teenagers.

Ana
Vidalia in Paris by Sasha Watson
Rating: 2 Stars
I was pretty disappointed with the storyline and characters. The girl is an artist who falls for an art stealer, and she actually helps him steal. I couldn't really sympathize with her, and the story didn't really have a happy ending.

Samantha
Maximum Ride series by James Patterson
Rating: 5 Stars
Mr. Patterson is one of the most well-known adult authors out there. I've read a few of his adult books, but I absolutely love Maximum Ride. There are currently five books, with the sixth due out in March.

The books spotlight six, amazing, unbelievable kids known as The Flock. Maximum Ride is the oldest and the leader. She is tough as nails, and an amazing fighter. She, along with Fang and Iggy, is fourteen. Nudge is eleven, Gazzy is eight, and Angel is six (seven in the most recent book).

Max's destiny is to save the world. She overcomes amazing odds on a daily basis, with her family at her side.

Oh, did I forget to mention, they have wings?

A.A
The Awakening by Kelley Armstrong
Rating: 4 Stars
This book is really addicting but I wish they made the ending more clear of what's going to happen. I think it would be better if their was a 3rd one.

A.A
Going Nowhere Faster by Sean Beaudoin
Rating: 5 Stars
I absolutely loved this book! It was so funny. I think everyone can relate to the characters in some way. It was absolutely incredible.

GAgirl0514
The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen
Rating: 5 Stars
I love all of Sarah Dessen's books! I'm not finished reading this one yet, but my sister said it's the best Sarah Dessen book that she's read.

Sara
P.S., I Love You by Cecelia Ahern
Rating: 4 Stars
Great book. I did not know the movie was based on a book and was excited to read it when I found out.

Gwen
A Heart Divided by Cherie Bennett and Jeff Gottesfeld
Rating: 4 Stars
A book that makes you rethink the phrase, "Don't judge a book (or anything for that matter), by it's cover."

3OH!3rox
Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher
Rating: 5 Stars
A girl who committed suicide sent out cassette tapes to thirteen people who are the reasons why she killed herself. i couldn't put it down!!

Anonymous
I Am The Messenger by Markus Zusak
Rating: 5 Stars
This book is about nineteen-year-old Ed Kennedy, who is basically ordinariness personified. He doesn't believe he'll amount to anything until, after stopping an unusual bank robbery, he starts to receive anonymous clues on playing cards. As Ed follows these clues he changes not only other peoples' lives, but his own.
Not the best description, and the writing style took a while to get used to, but if you get past the awkward part and finish the book you definitely won't regret it.

Robin
The Pendragon series by D. J. MacHale
Rating: 5 Stars
Pendragon is an awesome series! I actually cried while reading some parts of it. I would recommend this book to any teen!

Brittney
Raven by Allison Van Diepen
Rating: 5 Stars
This book is a must read for anyone who read TWILIGHT, and fantasy/romance fans alike. The characters are deeply described, the story keeps you guessing and the plot has a new twist with every turn of the page. I simply couldn't put it down. I borrowed it from my public library and were it not for work, it would have taken all my attention from the moment I got back.

Bonny
Hunger by Michael Grant
Rating: 5 Stars
Awesome book! I can't wait for the 3rd in the series!

~Tay~
Queen of Babble by Meg Cabot
Rating: 5 Stars
This is a whimsical story about a girl named Lizzie Nichols. She travels to England to see her boyfriend she's only known for three months. Then, when she finds out his intentions, she travels to France where her best friend, Shari, and her boyfriend, Chaz, are staying. She meets Luke, and the story ensues. Be sure to read all three books in the series --- you won't be disappointed!

Bella
This Lullaby by Sarah Dessen
Rating: 5 Stars
It's such a great book...it sounds so much like the real world.

Mirna
The Disappeared by Gloria Whelan
Rating: 5 Stars
It was a very interesting book. I enjoyed reading it very much.

Mona
Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
BEST BOOKS EVER!!! I would definitely read them over again.

Shawna
Sweet & Crazy by Patty Dann
Rating: 4 Stars
This book was about death, and how it affects loved ones. It incorporated the everyday struggles of single mother-hood. It also showed the affects 9/11 had on prejudice and racism. It is a book on finding love again and how to reinvent yourself when you thought all hope was lost. Beautifully put together, with the hard reality that five year-olds grow up faster with only one parent.

Mirna
Enthusiasm by Polly Shulman
Rating: 4 Stars
I really enjoyed this book. I think I would read it again if I was just bored or was going on a long trip.

Jean
Thirst by Christopher Pike
Rating: 5 Stars
I thought it was really good with alot - i mean ALOT- of blood for a book about vampires. I cant wait for the second book to come out.

Brittney
Mind of My Mind by Octavia E. Butler
Rating: 5 Stars
This book is absolutely amazing. It's very engaging and certainly makes you think as you read. It's sort of a sci-fi futuristic base with "special being" that have certain mental abilities, and their "creator" Doro who can is basically a body stealer. It's rather difficult to describe in detail, but I very strongly recommend this book to everyone.

Stephanie
New Moon by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
The anticipating sequel was one to die for! Loved it!

Averie
An Abundance of Katherines by John Green
Rating: 4 Stars
AN ABUNDANCE OF KATHERINES s is an awesome book for anyone looking for a laugh and maybe a way to sort out the craziness that is relationships.

Stephanie
Along for the Ride by Sarah Dessen
Rating: 5 Stars
Really captures the emotional side of how teenagers really think. I was not surprised by how great the novel was, considering Sarah Dessen wrote it.

Stephanie
Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck
Rating: 3 Stars
Very interesting and original. It was extremely depressing and sad in the end, but sometimes that is how life works.

Stephanie
The Hot Zone by Richard Preston
Rating: 3 Stars
I had to read this as a required summer assignment. It was good, but I am not a fan of scary science fiction. The amount of detail was incredible.

Stephanie
Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
By far one of the best books I have ever read! It was dramatic, intense, and kept me reading!

Rosie
Queen of Broken Hearts by Cassandra King
Rating: 3 Stars
The characters, setting, and premise of this book were all fairly interesting. However, I didn't find it particularly realistic - the idea that the two most eligible bachelors in the town might be interested in one completely oblivious woman is overused and, well, I don't find it particularly believable.

Rosie
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson
Rating: 5 Stars
This was one of the most engrossing, terrifying, compelling books I've ever read. Though when I first read the prologue I thought there wouldn't be much to the book, I was absolutely sucked in by the first chapter.

Averie
Saving Zoe by Alyson Noël
Rating: 4 Stars
You really never know a person inside and out. Even if they lived with you for most of your life. Everyone has secrets. In this book Echo learns more about her deceased older sister after her dead than she knew before. Its really a very interesting read.

Jess Savana
The Five People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom
Rating: 5 Stars
Very interesting...I liked it a lot

Sheri
Family Affairs: Secrets of My Hollywood Life by Jen Calonita
Rating: 4 Stars
Another excellent addition to this series. As always there is excitment and drama on every page. I loved this book!!!

Morgan
Outside Beauty by Cynthia Kadohata
Rating: 4 Stars
This book was surprisingly good! A good read for a lazy rainy day. It's about four sisters who totally rely on each other, and then are suddenly torn apart because of a tragic accident. They go to great lengths to get back together.

Morgan
The Minister's Daughter by Julie Hearn
Rating: 1 Stars
The book starts out fine, grabbing the interest of people who like to read about fairies. However, about fifty pages in, frightening references to Satan show up. The story is scary. But not in a good way. I stopped reading the book, and had bad nightmares that night.

Ruthie
A Map of the Known World by Lisa Ann Sandell
Rating: 5 Stars
This book was amazing. This was the first book I read by her but I cant wait to read more, shes an amazing writer. The story was beautifully written and it was quite sad but a great story.

**~**Anthony **~**
The Blue Girl by Charles de Lint

Rating: 5 Stars
This is the best romance novel I've ever read... you have to read it... I dont care about the movie... the movie was crap...

Alexis
Night World No. 3 by L. J. Smith
Rating: 5 Stars
The whole supernatural world is splitting apart. The good is for the humans to survive the darkness, and the bad wants them destroyed. I can not wait for the last book to come out.

Lindsay
Along for the Ride by Sarah Dessen
Rating: 5 Stars
This is one of those books that make you think about your life. Just to live and enjoy life.

Gopika
L. A. Candy by Lauren Conrad
Rating: 5 Stars
This is was an extremely well written book. It was somewhat like the A-List books, but way more rivetting. The book wasn't shallow and was very complex (unlike the A-list book). What I liked most about the book was the unpredictable plot, because what happened at the end...whew I would've never expected to happen.

Danielle K.
From Dead To Worse by Charlaine Harris
Rating: 5 Stars
I'm a big of fan of vampire books, but it is very hard to find good ones. When my mom mentioned Charlaine Harris's Sookie Stackhouse series, I wasn't so sure. Yet in about a month, I was completely done with that series. Now I must wait until the last one is in paperback to read it. This is one of the best vampire series I have read. Actually, it is the best!

Ash
If I Stay by Gayle Forman
Rating: 5 Stars
Mia is an amazing cello player and the girlfriend of one of the most cool and musical boys around. She loves her family and would do anything for her little brother. One snowy day, the family gets in a car crash and Mia's life changes forever. Will she choose forever with her family or a life with her loving boyfriend? At times this book reminded me of the movie August Rush and is a must read! It's short and sweet, and takes place in no longer than 24 hours.

Kim
Fix by Leslie Margolis
Rating: 4 Stars
A quick read with a kick.

It's about two sisters going through plastic surgery and learning on the way how they are pretty on the inside and that physical beauty isn't always that important.

Chelsea Saulpaugh
Twilight by Stephanie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
I love this book. I just began reading it after I saw the movie. It seems a lot better than the movie. I wish guys like Edward really existed. Too bad it's fiction.

Angela
Dead is the New Black by Marlene Perez
Rating: 5 Stars
This book is very suspenseful. It starts with
a girl being the blacksheep in her family to becoming the hero. It is for people you love mysteries and can't put a book down. I would recommend DEAD IS THE NEW BLACK for teens from 6-10 grade.

Malaysia
Sweetblood by Pete Hautman
Rating: 5 Stars
Sweetblood is a story about a diabetic teen whose vampire obsessing nature leads here to trouble and self discovery. I highly recommend it:)

Jasindo
Dull Boy by Sarah Cross
Rating: 4 Stars
I had heard very positive reports of this book so I expected a gripping read from page one. However, the novel did not wholly capture my interest until the twenty-first chapter. That's 228 pages later! I also had difficulty dealing with the ambiguity of the characters' physical appearances, as I would draw a blank while creating a mental picture. This left me to distinguish the vagueness as either the author's grant of freedom to choose whatever features readers deemed acceptable, or a case of forgetfulness on her part. I am partial to believing that the former is the truth. With that said, I can move on to the parts that were truly fantastic.

Though the above may make this book seem unworthy of reading, I actually would have given it five stars if I was solely rating the last five chapters and epilogue. These last pages contained the kind of fast-paced action found in bestsellers. Also, Avery and Jacques became twice as defined as they were upon their initial introductions. I found them much easier to empathize with because of the way their emotions were highlighted towards the end. The I highly commend Sarah Cross for her work on this novel and eagerly await a sequel.

Ashley
Rumors by Anna Godbersen
Rating: 4 Stars
RUMORS is the exciting sequel to THE LUXE. This novel has everything a teen reader could want in a book. For example there is suspense, romance, history but sadly, no vampires. Anna Godbersen has written a masterpiece and I can't wait to read the next book in this series.

Josi
Olive's Ocean by Kevin Henkes
Rating: 5 Stars
It was a really good book and i liked it a lot. Even so, i felt like i wanted to know more about Olive and more on the relationship between Tate and Martha. It was kinda sad in many ways (olive's death, Martha wasnt friends with olive, Martha wastes her first kiss, Martha was used, she left before tate and her could have a relationship, she didnt give olive's mom the water...) well. yah. BUT HEY IT WAS A GREAT BOOK ANYWAY!

CDJR
Being Nikki by Meg Cabot
Rating: 5 Stars
I loved this book! I would have never guest that the story would get so twisted. It was cool how in the end she found out that Nikki was still alive. If you haven't read this book yet I advise you to read it:)

Hayley
Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
Rating: 2 Stars
I really don't like this book so far (and im about 3/4's through). The language is confusing at times and the setting jumps around really often. But it's a classic so you should read it anyway.

Josi
Lock and Key by Sarah Dessen
Rating: 5 Stars
This is the best book ever! You wont be able to stop reading it! This is a story that will stick with you forever and I have never re-read a book before, but LOCK AND KEY might be the first. I totally recommend reading this! Especially if you like Sarah Dessen.

Josi
Waiting for You by Susane Colasanti
Rating: 5 Stars
I like it because it dealt with day to day problems. Friendship, dating, hardships, anxiety disorder, divorce and day to day issues. Very clean but a great read for teens about life.

Hayley
The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen
Rating: 5 Stars
This is the best book I have read this summer (besides THIS PRESENT DARKNESS by Frank Peretti). I think the message is great and it is written in a way so that teens can relate to the book.

Meghan R
City Of Bones by Cassandra Clare
Rating: 5 Stars
I loved this book!!! Though the ending was a bit disappointing, it was fresh and different. and shocking!! I cannot wait to take CITY OF ASHES out of the library next!

Mandy
The Summoning by Kelley Armstrong
Rating: 5 Stars
This is the first book in the series. It is awesome! A great book with everything in it!

Rachel
Band Geek Love by Josie Bloss
Rating: 4 Stars
Haha, this book was good. It is about Ellie Snow, who is a senior trumpet star in the marching band until her world gets turned around when a cute sophomore boy joins her section. It's very funny, and should be entertaining, especially if you're in band.

Amanda
3 Willows by Ann Brashares
Rating: 5 Stars
I looved this book! :) The characters were really awesome and real, and I liked how they were all going through something, and came out of it with their friendship a little bit stronger.

Ruthie
Paradise Lost: A Private Series by Kate Brian
Rating: 5 Stars
This is the ninth book in the series and if you havent read the Private Series than your crazy because its a page turner. You will never be able to put this book down! This book was both mysterious and amazing, what else can I say Kate Brian is an amaaaazing writer!

Ruthie
Twenty Boy Summer by Sarah Ockler
Rating: 5 Stars
I haven t read any of her other books but after reading this I cant wait for any of her other books. TWENTY BOY SUMMER was beautifully written and the story was just both riveting and compelling!

Lea
Wintergirls by Laurie Halse Anderson
Rating: 5 Stars
Anderson knows how to write a moving novel. Just like with SPEAK, she really caught my emotions and heart with Lia's tale. It's not just about eating disorders, it's about sadness, loss, death. It was so poetic and lyrically written, it was gorgeous and haunting.

Jessica
Songs of the Humpback Whale by Jodi Picoult
Rating: 5 Stars
It's a really great book, full of self discovery. I love how it was written, the chapters in Rebecca's point of veiw we a great idea. Loved it.

Chelsee
Being Nikki by Meg Cabot
Rating: 4 Stars
This book is a great sequel to the first, AIRHEAD. It is an excellent beach read for teen girls, with an interesting plot line, that even boys might like.

Sheri
Dragon Prince by Melanie Rawn
Rating: 4 Stars
Suuuuuuuuppper good!!!!! It's not your typical fantasy book. It has several plot lines and there is always something happening so you are never bored

Jasindo
Evermore by Alyson Noel
Rating: 3 Stars
I was greatly disappointed in this book because it wasn't nearly as amazing as so many claimed it to be. Though the storyline, I must admit, was quite exceptional, the author failed to take advantage of the plot and raise it to its full potential. In my opinion, there was not enough emphasis on the mysteries surrounding Damon among other things. Because of this, the entire first half of the tale was rather dull. Before I further berate this book, I must end by saying that I have considerable faith in Alyson Noel to redeem herself in future installments of this series.

Jasindo
Max Quick Book 2: The Two Travelers by Mark Jeffrey
Rating: 5 Stars
It is very difficult for me to say that I love a book, but in this case, there is no other way to describe how much I enjoyed this book. And as hard as it is to believe, this novel was even better than the first in the series. If you like action-packed science fiction, you'll fall in love with these books, too.

Samantha
The Awakening by Kelly Armstrong
Rating: 5 Stars
This book is the sequel to THE SUMMONING. Honestly I thought this book was bigger and better then THE SUMMONING. There is no time to stop and think, it's all action, and life and death situations, literally. I would totally recommend this book, because it's awesome. The book never felt boring, and because of that, I couldn't put it down. And that's why I read it in 1 day. This book is fantastic, and i cant wait until Kelly releases the third book in 2010 !!!

Adrienne
When You Reach Me by Rebecca Stead
Rating: 5 Stars

Brittany
If I Stay by Gayle Forman
Rating: 5 Stars
This book is a wonderful story about a girl named Mia. Mia is a seventeen-year-old girl who plays the cello, and has an older boy friend. She has had an audition for Julliard, and has many chances for fame. But, one snow day, her parents decide to take a family ride in the car. Driving down the road, life feels good. That is until her parents car in in a head-on collision. She has to deal with the pain of losing her parents, and she also has to deal with recovering from the crash. It's a GREAT read.

Kayla
To Catch a Pirate by Jade Parker
Rating: 3 Stars
It's a good book!

Lael
Evermore by Alyson Noël
Rating: 5 Stars
This book was about immortals, not vampires. I loved the character Ever and mysterious Damen. The plot was not that complex but the characters were.

Someone Like You by Sarah Dessen
Rating: 4 Stars
This book was really good, and I liked the adventure it took you through. Where one love was twisted and one just beginning. It would have received five stars but I found the ending lacking closure.

Hannah
New Moon by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars

Hannah
Song of the Lioness by Tamora Pierce
Rating: 4 Stars
The last in the Song of the Lioness series. Its an oldy but a goody! I love Tamora Pierce's books, and have to re-read them often!

Carissa
Specials by Scott Westerfield
Rating: 4 Stars
The last in Tally Youngblood/Uglies Trilogy (the last that features Tally as the main protagonist) has a different feel than the first two. While continuing the story that Pretties left off, Tally is once again changed against her will and left to fight the ultimate monster, herself and the lesions in her brain that continue to bar her from who she really is and who she wants to be. The theme of prejudice and how your appearance, in the end, doesn't define who you are continues to echo in SPECIALS, as it did with the first two. In short, very good and as always, thought provoking.

Jordan
Graceling by Kristin Cashore
Rating: 4 Stars
This is the story of Katsa, a girl who has been born with the power to kill. Gracelings, people with special talents (like her), are generally not trusted to begin with, and her specific talent makes her very few friends. When she meets a young man graced with fighting, though, she finds someone she can connect with. Soon, Katsa and her new friend find themselves traveling across the known world in order to solve a mystery that may prove deadly. I read this book on a recommendation from my librarian, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was well written and, for the most part, kept my attention nicely.

Paige

This book is excellent! It is a little science-fiction-y, but I really enjoyed it. There is a little bit of math components and I really began to love the main characters. Meg is funny, relatable, and she becomes like a friend as you read the book.

Morgan
Fablehaven: Grip of the Shadow Plague by Brandon Mull and Brandon Dorman
Rating: 5 Stars
FABLEHAVEN could possibly be one of the best fantasy quartets I've ever read. It's about a brother and a sister, Seth and Kendra, whose grandparents own a magical preserve that homes mythical creatures from fairies to centaurs. It really does look like a kid's series, but it's SO well written.

Cheyenne
Hunger by Michael Grant

Bridget
The Earth, My Butt, and Other Big Round Things by Carolyn Mackler
Rating: 5 Stars

Dominique
Pendragon by D.J. MacHale
Rating: 5 Stars
I have never been a reader of books over 100 pages long but after reading MacHales' first book, I went back to the library got as many as I could grab and stayed up for two nights reading this wondrous series. (you'll have to find it yourself for details so I wont spoil the story.)

Inkdeath by Cornelia Funke
Rating: 5 Stars
INKDEATH was extremely suspenseful and exciting while still being funny and enjoyable. Every page leaves you wanting more, you never know what may happen next. It has fairies, giants, humans, and evil little book readers. It was an extremely good book and I would recommend it to anyone. (But you have to read the first two of course, INKHEART and INKSPELL)

I normally do not read supernatural novels, but this one stole my attention. It was authentic and rich. Loved it.

Saintsalike
The Astonishing Adventures of Fanboy and Goth Girl by Barry Lyga
Rating: 4 Stars
Such a great read. I'm nerdy, so I could definitely relate to all the comic book and other references in the novel. A great debut; I can't wait to read more from this author.

Stephanie
If I Stay by Gayle Forman
Rating: 4 Stars
I have never read anything like it before. The only slight problem I had with it was that the whole story took place in the same day.

Stephanie

One of the best novels I have ever read about love, loss, and friendship. It was a powerful book that made me cry in the end.

Sarah
City of Bones by Cassandra Clare
Rating: 5 Stars
This series is right next to Harry Potter for me. This is the first angel YA novel I've ever read, and I love it! It's a bit of a romance, with the two of the main character, but it is also very funny and is jam-packed with action. Cassandra's writing is very detailed, so it's like your in New York seeing all these events going on.

Kaylie
Vampire Academy Series by Richelle Mead
Rating: 5 Stars
Mead creates characters who are very real and very humorous. Rose, Christian, Adrian- the sarcastic ones. Lissa, Dimitri, Mason- the lovable ones.

Each page kept me at the edge of my seat the whole time, and I never stopped wanting more. The books captivated me, and I couldn't stop thinking about them even after i finished reading them.

The author leaves a devastating cliffhanger at the end of the third book, SHADOW KISS, but that just makes the anticipation for the release of the fourth book, BLOOD PROMISE, increase. This series is amazing and the rest of the novels coming out will be just as great. I highly recommend this book, but only if you're willing to become obsessed with yet another vampire novel.

Kaylie
Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles
Rating: 4 Stars
The author isn't afraid to show the cruelty of harsh reality, but there wasn't a time where I wanted to stop reading. Two opposites attract in this novel, but readers soon find out that they weren't as different as they thought. Very good book.

Kaylie
My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult
Rating: 5 Stars
Depressing, yet realistic and beautiful. I cried most of the time reading this, but it was very much worth it. Much better than the movie. Highly recommended to read.

Kaylie
Night World Series by L.J. Smith
Rating: 4 Stars
Old novels, but by reading them I could barely tell they were written several years ago. The author is very descriptive, and it's easy to imagine the events and the characters. I fell in love with these three novels in the series and cannot wait until the next novel, STRANGE FATE, is released.

Kaylie
The Host by Stephenie Meyer
Rating: 5 Stars
As good as the Twilight Series. Meyer creates a fictional world that will have you believing in it by the end. Very long, but very worth the read. I give it two-thumbs up.

Bethany
Young Warriors: Stories of Strength by Tamora Pierce and Josepha Sherman
Rating: 3 Stars
This is a collection of short stories about young warriors. Features many different authors and lets you sample their writing styles. Some of the stories were way too weird for me, but others were good and let me look into the author's other books they had written.

Marina
When it Happens by Susane Colasanti
Rating: 5 Stars
This book was amazing! I love how it's written in a two person perspective so it alternates between Sarah and Tobey's point of view. It shows you how if two people are destined to be together, it will happen. You just don't know exactly when.

Amante dei Libri
Sunshine by Robin McKinley
Rating: 5 Stars
One of the best vampire books I've ever read. When the baker known as Sunshine goes to a cabin by a lake to think, she's kidnapped by vampires. As the story progresses, not only do you fall in love with the narrator's voice, you also get hungry for the descriptions of the foods she bakes. An all-time favorite.

Kristen
Graceling by Kristin Cashore

Suveda
Along for the Ride by Sarah Dessen
Rating: 5 Stars
I loved this book! After reading this book, I realized that I could be a part of several worlds, not just into one single category...sort of like the character Maggie-i can be smart, and love clothes, that sort of thing.

Stephanie
Jellicoe Road by Melina Marchetta
Rating: 5 Stars
One of the best books I have ever read. The chemistry between the main character and Jonah Griggs is unforgettable.

Nicole
Night World by L. J. Smith
Rating: 5 Stars
I give the Night World series by L. J. Smith 5 stars. I absolutely love the way that she writes and the plots that unfold throughout all three volumes. I liked how there was fighting action mixed with the discovery of new romance.

It wasn't until the third volume that I realized that there were no stories told from a guy's point of view. This fact saddened me a little, but nonetheless, I still rate it 5 stars.

Nour
The Seer and the Sword by Victoria Hanley

This Lullaby by Sarah Dessen
Rating: 5 Stars
This was probably my second favorite Dessen book. Very good storyline and growth within the characters.

Jessie
Graceling by Kristin Cashore
Rating: 5 Stars
Katsa is a Graceling, someone given a particular supernatural gift, distinguished by her different-colored eyes. Katsa's Grace is a rare one; she is Graced with killing. Since she was a child, she has been deadly, and this has left her isolated from much of society. She is used as a crude weapon by her uncle, the king, sent to twist the arms of those who cross him. Great book read it!

Beth
All Quiet on the Western Front by Erich Maria Remarque
Rating: 3 Stars
I just read this book last night. I guess I had been thinking that it would be kind of boring, but when I picked it up, it was really hard to put it down. I didn't like it especially because it was so sad, but it showed me how bad war really is and how sometimes people don't realize how bad it is. It kind of helped me to understand the lives of soldiers back during the first World War.

Claire
The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald
Rating: 4 Stars
This is a great book. I had to read it for school, but I ended up liking it so much. It's a short read, and it's really worth it.

Claire

Ink Exhcange and Wicked Lovely by Melissa Marr
Rating: 5 Stars
I read them both right in a row. In comparison I enjoyed WICKED LOVELY more, but they were both great faerie stories. Anyone who enjoys darker faerie books would enjoy this series. They could definitely be compared to Holly Black's faerie books.

I bought FRAGILE ETERNITY and cannot wait to start it.

Kaycee
Living Dead Girl by Elizabeth Scott

It was a very short and easy read, but very hard to put down. The story kept you going, but the ending was heartbreaking.

Harriet

Harriet
The Book Theif by Markus Zusak
Rating: 5 Stars
I fist started reading the book expecting it to be bad, I had nothing else to read so I kept on reading it. And then I couldn't stop reading it. It's probably one of the best books I've ever read (and I've read a lot); In my top five best books. I don't just recommend it, I think everyone should read it because it doesn't matter what genre your into.

Maria

Blood and Chocolate by Annette Curtis Klause
Rating: 5 Stars
When i first read the first 5 chapters... the book was so detailed... and it really looked as if.. she took sooooo many years to write. That's how good it was. It was good when the romance kicked in! It was like I was there the whole time! I bet if you read this book... you would feel the same way- as if your right there- so i recommend this book to people of age 13 and up!
