READERS CIRCLE
What do you do when you're reading a book that is so good --- so provocative -- that you just have to talk to someone about it? Why not do something about it? A book group is a great way to bring friends together to share your love of reading and inspire great conversations.
Wondering what to read? We have found a program called Readers Circle that has 18 books that are perfect choices. No matter what your reading preferences are --- contemporary fiction, humor, mysteries, history, classics --- you'll find a Readers Circle book to suit your taste.
What makes Readers Circle books special is that there's a Reader's Guide in every book (we also have them online for you right here at Teenreads.com). Perfect for book groups, this guide provides intriguing discussion questions, revealing author interviews, in-depth author biographies, insight into the writing process and recommendations for further reading.
Below please find 18 books currently featured as Readers Circle titles.
Over the next three months we will be sharing more about these books with you --- and will introduce you to some of the authors via Teenreads.com interviews.
An Interview with 7 Readers Circle Authors:
Recently, Teenreads.com sat down with seven authors of young adult fiction who are participating in the Readers Circle program. Jennifer Armstrong, Adam Bagdasarian, Kimberly Willis Holt, Lois Lowry, Ruth Pennebaker, Louis Sachar and Janet Tashjian discussed a wide variety of topics, including the process of writing a novel, the enthusiasm that young people share for reading, and their upcoming works.
